Clare blushed lightly and rubbed the back of her head. "... I'm not entirely sure," she said. "Maybe... Let's say 19 to 21." I feel that way, anyhow...

Clare shrugged. "Yeah... I was sort of raised by another couple after my real parents died, so I'll never really know for sure," she said, grinning sadly at Alka. Wow... orphan story already? You must really like this guy. The wolf blushed at that thought.

"Oh.... Umm..." Alka suddenly felt a bit guilty for asking. In spite of this, he talked more. "W-Well... I guess I kinda know the feeling.... Of umm... not having your 'real' parents around...." You shouldn't tell her so soon. I mean, you guys have only just met for christ's sake. But.... she did talk about her story to me... I guess I should be a bit fair here. "My mum abandoned me early on... And took my two sisters with her. Left it just me and my dad, and he was bummed out about it. Took it out on me a lot of the time, so it didn't really feel like my real parents were around. He did stop doing it after a while though..."

Clare followed Alka closely, looking both ways before she crossed. He's already done something that COULD be considered intimate with me... sure, it was abdominal surgery, but he's my roommate, not my doctor, so... does that make it intimate? The wolf's blush deepened. WILL WE HAVE TO KISS?!

Alka stayed silent for the mean time. Although, he would've preferred to be talking rather than thinking. O-Ok.... Umm... M-Maybe I'm jumping the gun a little. I bet she's not even thinking the same thing. I bet she doesn't even like me that much and simply considers this a friendly journey for some hot-coco. Oh but man.... What if she's thinking the same things I am... That would be awesome... Alka smiled a tad bit and let his paws free from his pockets. It may be cold, but he didn't mind it that much.

Clare stayed silent for a bit longer as well, but a smile crept to her face as something came to mind. Th-then again.... I guess I wouldn't mind kissing him all that much, the wolf thought, blushing darkly. "So.... Hot chocolate, huh?" she asked, rubbing the back of her head.

"W-Well..." Alka looked around to get a sense of location. "It's not just hot-chocolates. They make pretty nice chocolate based deserts and stuff. I-I personally can't get enough of their lava-cakes but umm... I don't always have time to go and pay them a visit. A-Ah, that's them up ahead." A small walk further down the path ended with a shop opposite their side of the street. In big bold orange, a sign on the front read "Choco-lovers." It was a relatively small shop, but through a slightly brown tinted window, tables and seats with a few people already inside could be seen.

Clare cocked her head and grinned. "And I thought I was brown," she said, turning and looking at Alka. ...God, that joke sucked.

Alka, despite not understanding the joke, chuckled softly. Not the best sense of humour though... once they reached the shop, Alka opened the door for Clare. "Ladies first..."
