Clare unzipped her jacket as well, holding it in front of her so that nobody saw her stitches. "... Perhaps I should have changed out of this shirt," she said, chuckling. "Then again, I can lie if I have to..." This last part she whispered in Alka's ear. HE... HE'S PAYING FOR IT. OH MY GOSH, THIS IS A DATE.

Clare took the other seat and looked out the window, keeping the jacket in front of her and appearing outwardly calm. She grinned widely at Alka. ...This escalated quickly. But... wait. What if I'm misinterpreting this? "So... do you think they have chocolate?" she asked, swishing her tail as she attempted to be goofy.

Alka reached over to a nearby table and grabbed two menus off of it, handing one to Clare. He looked through it and decided on a dark hot chocolate as well as a chocolate volcano. He heart was already warming thinking of the sweet taste of the chocolate, and he looked up at Clare. "Alright, I'm ready to order. What tickles your fancy?"

Alka smiled. "The funnel cake is nice, but a lot fluffier than you'd expect. It's more akin to a donut than a churro, but they coat it with cinnamon to make it taste like a churro. It tastes really nice, but if you're going to get it, I recommend getting the customised version. It also pairs well with a thick Spanish hot chocolate, but I should warn you. That stuff is pretty much straight melted chocolate." Alka chuckled and pulled out his wallet.

Clare watched Alka walk away, absentmindedly rubbing her forearm. This is really nice of him.... I hope he doesn't mind all my piercings. The wolf sighed and looked at her abdomen. Maybe next time, I should get my navel pierced professionally instead of by a friend who needs the practice.... I wouldn't want to get him in trouble by slamming another hunk of metal into myself by accident.

After quickly making the order and swiping his card, Alka input the PIN code and took his table number. Well... I can't say I ever imagined going on a date with a woman. Much less, a woman going on a date with me... She's actually kinda cute... The piercings ruin what would be a beautiful image of a face, but she'll realise that with time. I think. Maybe. The wolf blushed a little as he placed the table number back down on the table and sat down.

...Why the heck do I even have piercings? Clare thought as Alka returned. Sure, my sister thought it would keep me from getting raped or something, but it's not like anyone could...
