Marko opened the letter and read over it. brought his fingers to his lips in thought. He sighed. "This could be another trap. I will... Think it over..."

Rays gem arrives at south-hold. And manages to make its way into the hands of South-holds leader. Asenda Utopia looks over the Gem with great interest. Before deciding to take it to Angder in person. Hopefully she could persuade Angder to give it to the church, such a donation would strengthen her political power. and allow her to fix some of the more... spiritual... issues faced by the Fangwall.

Over the next day, Hold leaders begin to travel to the Fangfort, the capital city, to discuss the events in steelburg.

[The Past]

A messenger, a young crane, arrived in to the room during the the Burrklau parliament meeting.

"Message from... A-Arestoska," she announced as she handed Jovri the letter.

Jovri quickly read through the letter. "Okay," he muttered as he read.
He smiled at the messenger and bowed his head politely. "Thank you."
The messenger bowed with cheer as well and left the room.

"Wait, Arestoska?" One of the officials remarked.

"What does it say?" Adari asked.

Jovri hesitated for a moment. "Err, the leader calls for a meeting about the... assassination attempt in Steelburg. He wants me and the other leaders to meet in Lutz soon..."

Some of the officials sighed and groaned, slumping back in their chairs.

"Are you kidding?" said one, a mountain mapol bear. "They think we're going to trust you going off in what is likely another trap?"

"Exactly," said another, a fiery-colored lizard. "Have you not heard the tales of Arestoska? It's basically a massive prison!"

Adari shook her head. "We shouldn't go, Jovri. It's too much of a risk. Even if it were safe, we might not be able to make it in time."

Jovri stared at the letter and sighed. "I know... but I still think we should try."

"Sweet Kingada, tell us you're joking, Sigikel," the lizard cried.

Jovri closed his eyes and took a breath before raising his head to look at his officials.
"... No. This is our chance to make alliances with the peaceful nations. As you all know, Burrklau will not stand a chance if we are invaded."
His voice grew more confident as he spoke.
"We have been strong by ourselves for a long time, but these threats are far more terrifying compared to what we once dealt with. We will be... wiped off the map if we don't get help... so I will take this risk."

"I agree," a mouse spoke up. "Despite the rumors, Arestoska might be honest about this. We need to go, for the safety of Burrklau as a whole."

"Ai," the crane guard agreed. "As for the travel, I hear the aircraft project is completed. A couple more test runs and it should be safe to fly.

Jovri grinned. "Awesome. So we can make it."
He turned back to his parliament and got a little nervous again. "Uh, so..."
He cleared his throat and raised his hand. "As Sigikel of Burrklau, I wish to join with fellow leaders in Arestoska. Ai or Iga."

The mouse raised her hand immediately, as did several others "Ai.". The lizard and Adari hesitantly raised their hands. The mountain mapol bear went to knock his knuckle against the table for Iga, but hesitated and paused to think for a moment before raising his hand, "Ai..."

As the Arestoska message reached Ray, he realized that, unfortunately, he couldn't read. Ray knew of only one that could, but they had left on a spiritual journey.

Ben received the message from Areatoska and read the words on the parchment quickly, "I'd like to get more information on what happened."

I assemble my guards and suit up in my armor grabbing my weaponry before we set out on the journey to Areatoska knowing that if we didn't set out at that moment we'd never make it in time

The harsh Arestoskan winter swept across the country, The town hall in Lutz was making preparations for the meeting that was going to be held. Soldiers where being set up, Four on the front door, Seven in the courtyard in front of the building, Fifteen in the building, four guarding the door leading to the meeting room, and ten in the back. The building was heavily defended from any and all threats.


"It looks perfect." Said Bailey looking at his officers behind him


"I say its the best the workers have ever done since the Hall of Vornor." Said a Brown bear


"Yes indeed. Now do we have an official date for when this will happen?" Asked Bailey


The officers looked at each other and looked back at their leader, "No sir. The other leaders have not got back to us." Bailey sighed and began to speak once again, "Well whenever we do get the date, make sure the people try not to kill the foreigners." The officers saluted and walked away. Bailey proceeded to head back to the capital in Obristan.

*Adrian was in his office as he gently tapped his hoof on the wooden desk*


"What progress have we made with the shuttle?..."


*A german shepard sighed


"Very little sir... the materials aren't ready yet."


*Adrian sighed*


"Lets open that Tungsten mine then..."

[The Past]

A message had just arrived in Arestoska from another, exhausted avian messenger. Luckily she remembered to bring warm clothing, though it did slow her travel somewhat.

"Mr. Bailey Arestoska,

I and my adviser Adari Amikada shall be attending the meeting at any time it is set, which is hopefully soon. The incident in Steelburg was awful in itself, but I fear whoever was behind it was also involved with the assassinations of my family. My nation, and for sure others as well, are clearly under threat. I hope that together we shall bring this traitor leader to justice as soon as possible. I have an idea of who did it, but I currently have no concrete proof, and it is safer to save it for the meeting.

My parliament and I thank you and the other well-meaning nations for support in these trying times.

Jovri sat at his desk. He was satisfied with the letter when he wrote it, but now a nervous doubt began to nibble at him again. It was the first time he wrote an official letter himself, and it certainly didn't help that he wasn't used to writing in English. Adari helped him with the spelling, but it was unusual for him. While a form of English did exist officially in Burrklau, there was enough difference in the dialect to make it confusing to spell.
This was a letter to a fellow nation leader, and it terrified him to think how stupid he might look if he messed up. He regretted not letting Adari check it over, but it was too late now.

"Sir, some of the nations leaders have written back to us." A large white tiger exclaimed to Bailey. Bailey turned around in his desk and started at him, "Well isn't that just great, also I need you to send another letter telling the date in which this meeting will take place in." The tiger looked at him and asked, "When will the meeting take place sir?" Bailey handed him a stack of paper and said, "Tomorrow." He smiled and walked away, "Hurry up and get those letters to them all"

Ben and his small unit arrive at Lutz covered in a thin layer of snow.

I stop after we enter the town and ask somebody where the town hall is located
