That's one of the greatest pains I feel, Bricket. Not the blind drive forward. Not knowing I will "reach a lot" as you said. It's the fighting. I fight, and I don't know why. I keep moving forward, but I cannot see my destination. I refuse to quit, but I have suffered so much, with no end in sight. No goal I try to reach that makes the suffering worth it. In the last ten years alone, I have felt so much torment. The denial. The loneliness. And, most of all, the memories of what happened to me. The knowledge that those who did this walk free. It is not just denial of freedom. It's denial of justice.

Regardless, Bricket, in spite of my downed, tormented state, you remain kind and understanding. Perhaps you know what it's like. Perhaps you understand what it means to be me. Perhaps not. Either way, I look on you as a friend in these dark times.

Times that continue to grow darker.
