Looking For Casual RP Nonsense via Skype Chats

So, I've found that I really like random, individual short RPs. Basically just like, slice-of-lifeish, ultra-causal settings, with occasional incident thrown in here and there. So I think to myself: Furry setting for this? Heck yea!
Something lazy with little setup to fall right into and goof around with. Maybe some brainstorming for how a world dominated by furries and possibly more would work.
I'm thinking a world where, aside from talking animals, magic is viewed differently: It's possible, and commonly accepted as a unique branch of science. So, basic spells and enchants are common in an otherwise familiar modern society, or perhaps a tiny bit more sci-fi with magic as a concept slowly pulling technology in a different direction from our own world. This is just an idea, and it can be expanded upon and made up as we go. I think it could be cause for some entertaining shenanigans. One character would probably be new to town or something cliche like that. Who knows.
Paragraph style or script style, either is welcome as it's just for fun and I don't mind doing either.
