I really think it depends  ^_^
I prefer it when furries don't have any clothes as it gives the chance to show off all that nice fur and any patterns they have. It looks strange when people wearing fullsuits have clothes on top of that too.
Sometimes clothes can really work with a character's personality and make them look awesome though!

Like I've said, Foxi doesn't always wear her full outfit. Sometimes she'll only wear her sweater, sometimes she'll wear everything but her shirt and bandana... just depends on the mood.
Karasu, however, is feral, so she doesn't wear anything. xP

For me, less is more XD

The collar is a must have! But everything else is optional :D depending on whether or not I'm feeling primal enough....sometimes the clothes just have to go! Nothing but me and the collar/leash (beware, when doing this the leash is metal and VERY cold!)

Seams the general consensus is that it's all in personal taste, style and function. But then isn't that the purpose for clothes? Personally I simply agree with the whole 'If the shoe fits wear it' mentality. If clothes work and bring a sharper image and add layers of personality use it. If it looks silly or out of place don't. Like art there is really no wrong way to do it besides an out right negative rejection to something based entirely on personal taste.

I don't have a problem with furries wearing clothes, but for me personally, I prefer mine without and just have fur.  I guess it comes down to the personal preference of the individual. For me, they look more animal-like without clothes.

My main opinion on this is that it all comes down to style and the medium.. I think toony fursuiters with ful lsuits and no clothers are adorable but when it comes to webcomics I prefer more realistic anthro characters with clothing. For fursonas it really depends on the style of your character. If you're more toony I'd say something small like a bandana or hat looks great and for more realistic clothes look good. That's just my personal opinion and I don't think anyone who deviates from that is wrong, that's just what I prefer.

I don't care if furries are nude unless it's NSFW.

I like to show off Ambrix's markings, so even when she wears clothes, they're usually short or small.

Ever since adding a touch of dragon to my fursona, clothes have been almost entirely abandoned.

I even shower naked!

I only draw my fursona wearing a scarf, but that's because nothing shows. As long as nothing shows, I think it's ok to wear no clothes.

Wolf usually doesn't wear any clothes, though he sometimes wears a T-shirt and nothing more. He prefers to be unclothed, because he likes to feel more ''natural'' and ''feral'' instead of human-like.

Wrecking clothes during transformation between anthro and feral is kinda fun, but my biggest issue is getting something that can fit no matter what my form is (because I have this weird thing that means I can change between male and female almost at will).

My main fursona usually wears clothes, but she sometimes doesn't. When she wants to feel more like a feral, she won't wear anything. The amount of clothes also varies from just a cloak to a full outfit. My other two fursonas are feral, so they never wear clothes.
