clothing separates the ferrals from the sophisticated.
I have to disagree and that's "Ferals".

I usually give clothes to realist/modern characters.
When it comes to more fantasy characters, it depends. If they are more on the "wild" side, like weres, demons or divinities, I keep them naked. If they are more human-like, or "mortal", or "civilised" or whatever you want to call them, then they are clothed.
I'd say both naked and clothed furries are equally nice, it all depends of the character itself and its context.

I'm just looking for some opinions, so what do you think? Do you like anthros wearing clothes? Do you feel like they would need clothes? Or do you like it when furs are wearing nothing but fur?
Clothes for sure, gives us a way to express us much more. Feels like some it would be kinda wierd if we did not considering it would eighter be like some kids tale where no one has genitals or a tribe society with no tec what so ever.

Or it could be a world were sentient and highly-technological beings do not care at all about genitals? I have some futuristic SF characters who only wear clothes when it is needed (for protection while doing certain jobs or when the weather is too cold, for example), but usually stay naked, because they are not disgusted by naked bodies, just like we are not disgusted by naked dogs or whatever.
Actually, I am not sure what the reason would be to hide genitals.

Personally, I dislike the Idea, for instance, I stood for hour bricking my head about the Popori in TERA ONLINE, and I don't like Evallice of that reason too
but I do accept it like a cosmetic thing, and I see it as the old timie cartoons
so my verdict is: only if one feel is right
as for hiding anything, the fur suppose to be doing that

i have a  metamorph character who doesn't wear clothes in 'feral' from but does in anthro form ,but once again she's in a sci-fi setting.

I draw my characters with clothing, but it makes sense because of the setting and society they live in and the culture I've created for them. I kind of think it's down to personal preference on the person's character and the world-setting they've created for those characters.
I prefer my furries with clothes as it makes them look more like people, and because I enjoy modern and sci-fi settings more anyway, where people have technology and the methods to manufacture clothes and the like.

My 'sonas wear clothes mostly to express their personalities and it feels more "normal" to me. Although Katsuro does go around shirtless sometimes.

Kyro usually doesn't wear clothes, but she will occasionally.

Raven wears clothes pretty much all the time. It makes her look cuter anyway.

Foxi normally wears clothes, but on occasion she won't wear a shirt. Even though she's a female, she has floof to "conceal" herself. But mentally she doesn't care about acting terribly female-ish.

Karasu is a feral, so she never wears anything.

Dusk just wears a brown collar, since she's basically just a wild Pokémon who acts more domestic.

I'm in the process of making a deer and a German shepherd, so they don't even exist yet. XD

i go both ways, i dont really care if they have clothes or not, i draw my furrys with fan clothes (games tv shows) on if i want to represent a fandom, or i draw them in clothes if i want them to  look cooler! but sometimes i draw them without clothes if i want them to seem more natural or if i just feel like it! XD

My two fursonas are just basic fur patterns underneath so I'd say clothes just so you have more ways of expressing yourself. At the very least some types of accessories like hats or scarves etc

To me it just really is all about the setting. If the characters are atomically correct then clothes would be needed. If not, then no problem. But other then that.

I find ether way to work being that I like clothing in general but I can see why others perfer the other way. So really to me, it's just about what the artist intention is. OuO
