Isn't drawing using a computer / touchscreen, like super awkward?

I mean, by the looks of your art, it clearly isn't. ( ;) )  But, how do you do that?

at first it really is!! i wont lie when i got my first pen tablet I had to practice for days before I could even draw an eye!

The only benefit is I started young so i adjusted so much easier!

but with the ipad, transition is actually much smoother and only feels awkward the first time using it. like using a new type of marker, really.

So for my computer I use paint tool sai.

For my ipad I use medibang (free) and I am transitioning to procreate ($9.99 USD)

I do reccomend all the programs I use because once you get used to them theyre very accessible! I think the hardest to use is Paint tool sai because it does lack even a general tutorial (it did for me anyway.) To figure out how to use some of the specialty tools I had to look it up.

I like to use medibang because its compact and a lot like paint tool sai.

Procreate from what ive got so far from using it is a lot like adobe? has special brushes for hair and junk (Which normally I dont even like the texture of.) So if youre more used to Adobe or Photoshop, Procreate is more for you!

I hope that helped c:

Maybe I should do a full review of the ipad?

Yeah that helps. I’ve been using Adobe Sketch and Autodesk Sketchbook, which are both pretty good but lack some useful features.

I actually tried both of those apps!

medibang is a great alternative that is free!

So here is a little bit of an art dump of some of my pieces. Some are completed some aren’t and some are sketches, so enjoy.

Also I made a Instagram account for my art as well so that is juliethewhitewitch if you want to follow me :)

I use MediBang on the iPad Pro. It is free.
Also it’s simple to use.
