I don't believe Megmeg, my little nut, Meg ... has gotten a story about how she died yet! Your turn!

It was an abnormally bright and clear day out where Nutmeg lived, and she was basking in the sun on her tree limb, when she heard a sudden crack from the distance. Her cute little squirrely nose twitched as she perked her ears. Those blasted hunters, always trapping innocent furs, had gotten another one. She ran back into her house and retrieved her tools, and adorable little hat that she wore for things like this. Leaping nimbly from tree limb to tree limb, she rushed to the origin of the sound. Stopping amidst the rattle of swaying leaves, she looked down and saw a bear. Fortunately, this time she wouldn't have to free it at the loss of one of its limbs - it was only a net trap.

It was better to just cut them down without warning - when your body wasn't rigid, it was easier to take a fall, so she chopped the poor bear down. Leaping from her perch and onto the dazed bears back, she leaned over its eyebrows and looked into its eyes. "Thank you, little squirrel." The bear told her in a heavy accent. With a sigh of relief, she patted the bear on the head, picked up her tools, and began the trek home. A python snapped out of the foliage to her right, barely missing her. She picked up her pace and ran as fast as her little feet could carry her. The snake just about caught up, but she dove to the left, into the bushes to avoid it. The snake, unable to find her, continued on its way.

Panting breathlessly, Nutmeg realized where she was. A sidewalk near the city, out of the woods! Still, it wouldn't hurt to go forage for a little food. She stepped out, but the unfortunate thing was: she stepped out into settling cement for the sidewalk. Her feet stuck quickly, and the mush was too thick to get out. She thrashed, accidentaly coating her fur in cement mix and digging a nice little hole. She stuck to the bottom of the hole, and when it rained later that day, she drowned. Cement drowning death. Poor Nutmeg.
