I hope you have room for one more! I have a better understanding on how to get this one into the RP than I did with the last =-=; This is a new character I've been wanting to try out. I hope you won't mind a furry equivalent of Drax the Destroyer.
Name: Reeva “The Cleeva” Pewterarm
Age: 30
Species: Northern Sergal
Gender: Female
Class: Fighter
Description: An amazonianly large and lanky Sergal with a trimmed and groomed coat to make due of the warmer climate. She has a cool gray fur that covers the majority of her body with a strip of fur running between her thighs, up her stomach, and under her chin colored white. Her ears are long with tufts of fur curling upwards to the air. Her eyes are naturally gray, and on her maw there is some visible signs of a scar running down her cheek. Her entire body has been painted with tribal like tiger stripes, with a glyph on her stomach. The Glyph doesn’t have much in the way of meaning other than being a nametag.
While she usually wears armor… however recent events had made her armor’s torso utterly unusable, and abandoned till she can find a suitable armorer to repair it. Instead… she gets by – by shamelessly wearing the leggings, tail guard, and gauntlets of her armor. The only actual articles of clothing she adorns with her armor is a tattered red sashed loosely tied on and held up with belts like a skirt, and a wrapping of bandages around her chest. It’s clear that she doesn’t have much of a sense of modesty… even if there’s nothing for her to actually show.
And as for the way she carries himself, she steps with a subconscious predatory like prowl. But she seems to hold a plesant expression most of the time. Showing a very care-free, and happy go lucky demeanor. That is till she enters battle. Then she looks like she's possessed by the way her eyes hardens, and her lips pull back into a garish grin like snarl. Perhaps she takes enjoyment in ending lives? Perhaps that is just created from years of battle. Regardless, it's a sign that mercy is off the table.
History: Reeva is very much an open book, and she will happily tell you more about her history if asked. But when it comes to it, her history in an abridged form is very simple and represents the happy life of a warrior-minded sergal. She was born and raised during a time of war. She eagerly trained for combat as a soldier and fought in it till it was finally over. Things eventually grew a little too quiet for the blood thirsty creature, and she set off on her own way after her service term was over.
Noteworthy Gear:
A Thundering Two Handed Sword: A slender two-handed sword that she has lovingly named Tel. It’s appearance is rather mundane, but obviously a master’s work. It’s one noteworthy feature however is it’s random tendency to create a resounding shockwave after cutting into something’s body.
Tail Armor: After her last contract, the armor for her tail has improved quite a bit. The tail now has chains wrapping around it in cross sections with metal thorns poking outwards from the links. The metal plates that were part of her complete set of armor, are now lined in dragon scales. The scales are mostly decoration than for function. However the spikes… show their function when the Sergal gives her opponent a hard slap with her tail.
Noteworthy Skills:
Reeva is an excellent battle hardened soldier. She had been trained in the Sergal’s way of the Two handed sword category, and also with spears, daggers, halberds, and quarter staffs. However, her skill really shines when she is armed with a two handed sword, which she wields with deadly efficiency, skill, and speed.
Ironically, for a creature who only knew war as part of her life, she is an excellent cook. She can craft a large variety of savory meals and confectionaries.
Flaws or Weaknesses:
The common language of the area is definitely not her first. This tends to make communication incredibly difficult for her. Combined with her first language’s tendency towards literalism… she can easily misinterpret the context of many common sayings. She –has- killed and cooked a horse for one of the Honor Guard members in the past, because they used a very common idiom that she didn’t understand. And due to the same language barrier, she can not read the common language.
She tends to envy the lives of mothers. Though this strong emotion does tend to sway her in going out of her way to help families in need, if it's clear that the situation is utterly ridiculous for them to resolve on their own.
By the way that eyes are placed on a Sergals heads, it makes it incredibly difficult for her to use missile weapons. She's even banned herself from using weapons like bows, slingshots, and rifles for having one too many cases of friendly fire and unaccounted for shots.
