Hi John! It's story time! Papa synth is telling us about his days in the army.

[HellEye]

I thought it would be fun to call him that

Hai there John

had chocolate today, with pancakes 

[Synth-Fox]

we spent the rest of the after noon making a "track plan" where we made little path ways and cleared areas on the ground... now as for sleeping arrangements, this was somewhat more primitive... we had large olive green ponchos that for some reason we were never allowed to wear.. however you could use them as a large water proof sheet if you tied them around some trees and placed another on the floor  as a ground sheet.... that was it, that's what you sleep in..... just a sheet over ur head and one on the ground.. so all the bugs get in at night! but as I was saying these two sheets in this configuration are called a "basha"... and we had to choose a "basha buddy" (gives audience a funny look ) after we had set up camp it was almost dark in the early evening.. but we still had more work to do....

Good, a bit boring as always but good. Yours?

so we finished setting up camp and we were told we had to go on a patrol to detect suspicious activity..... The cool thing about this patrol tho was that I was the leader, so everyone had to follow me and look for my hand signals >  we walked round the forest and heard people using radios and saw people trying to hide whilst smoking cigarettes ( you could see them from a mile away) and every time anything suspicious happened I would signal the patrol to stop and if necessary take cover... now when ur patrol leader you have plenty of time to look for a nice place to lay down before signalling to take cover, however if ur behind u just have to dive anywhere.... unfortunately for my friend and basha buddy Perry he managed to dive straight in to dog poop according to him he was ordered to do that but I doubt that... so then I had to sleep next to him when we got back!!!!!!

Well, on the bright side the bashas are open, so it didn't fill up with the perfume

even tho it was open it still stank!!! plus there were bugs crawling and buzzing all over the place!!!
