Let's Talk about Hypnosis!
« on: January 17, 2016, 10:17:00 PM »
Welcome to the Hypnosis Chat Thread!
I am very interested in Hypnosis, and would love to hear about others' experiences and tips!

I have discovered that hypnosis is a powerful tool to accomplish hard tasks, impossible transformations, and extraordinary feats. I have been hypnotized a few times, such as to think I was a velociraptor, a fox, and even my own fursona! I love it!

Now, for those you don't believe in hypnosis, it is probably because you haven't been able to be hypnotized, right? Many of may believe in it, but still are unable to be hypnotized! Well, I will explain Why?:

  • First, you  must be absolutely sure you want to be hypnotized.
  • Then, you should practice with simple sleep modules.
  • Third, play along with the hypnotist, and don't have a single skeptical thought in your mind.
  • Many do this, so try not to think about all the things you will do, or what you will look like, during the hypnosis.
It distracts you from the hypnotist.
  • And fourth, do not try ''painful hypnosis'' for transformations, as it is physically harmful.
Did you know, that when in a deep hypnotic state, your brain can make you feel, see, and smell what it wants? You need plenty of practice before trying this though!

Many people say that you have to be ''weak-minded'' to be hypnotized, but this isn't true! This is a rude way to make people feel bad, often because they can't be hypnotized themselves! No, I am not saying this is always the case.

Is hypnosis harmful? It is not! A hypnotist, unless it is one of those OP ones, can not make you do anything you don't want to do! When in videos, or in a live show, the ''victims'' are usually faking, or are willing to do this. So don't be scared, when your brain hears something it doesn't like, it shuts out any offending commands.

So, tell me about YOUR hypnotic times, or share better ways to be hypnotized! One, two, three... Post!

I don't believe that hypnosis actually exists and is more of a science-fiction plot rather than something that exists in reality.
Interesting concept though.

It's ok, not to believe, but I do not lie when I say that it has power. It does nothing physical (unless it is a pain hypnosis), it merely screws with your brain. Thank you for the comment!

I'm also interested in hypnosis somewhat.

Use to be able to follow along with very simple hypnosis sessions, but nothing that complex at all. Would love to hear some tips if you have any more  :)

I thought I replied to this... Hmm

Either way, long story short, I'm a noob hypnotist and I've hypnotised a few guys, usually to help them sleep when dealing with and injury, but also for a laugh every now and then.

Either way, it's real and fun, but not everyone can be hypnotised, including myself. I'm willing to answer any questions and help you learn how to hypnotise someone too. Just drop me a PM and I'll get back to you when I can.

Hypnosis is real, there's a lot of scientific evidence that people can be hypnotized but the hypnosis in movies and the hypnosis in what is real are very different.

Hypnosis is basically a state of consciousness where someone is so focused that they become very easy to manipulate. Basically they're thoughts are so limited on one thing that thoughts like "Should I do X" are suppressed. It only works for a select few people and isnt usually very powerful as a lot of stuff can get someone out of this state of mind and have them lose focus.

It's also impossible to make someone jump off of a building or anything they wouldn't want to do through hypnotism

Yes, as I have said. Your brain triggers stress molecules when in danger, so the body can produce adrenaline. The adrenaline ''wakes you up'' from hypnosis. It's the same way with failed suicide. The body wants to live, no matter how much the right side (this side processes emotions, creativity ect.) doesn't.

I find hypnosis to be extremely interesting among other things, and I do in fact believe it has power as I have seen it before.  :)

Completely false, in fact it has been proven that people with higher IQ's and general intelligence are easier to hypnotize.

Not to brag, but I have an IQ of about 130 and I can't be hypnotised. Lol

But one guy I knew was pretty clever and it was too easy to hypnotise him. However there was another guy who wasn't too bright and was also easy to hypnotise.

It's not having a week will, but it is being more susceptible to suggestion.
