The first world is Project Himalia, and the second world is Project Themisto - they discover at the end of the series that clusters of the worlds, specifically two per, are usually tied together. Project Jupiter is the first overall collective. Meaning both Earth and Air are somehow tied together and depend on each other. I'm not going to reveal too much, but the Ancients departed from the remnants of our Earth, seeking new worlds to live on. They found nothing, so developed mechanisms to support life on other worlds. Problem is, each world is in stasis - the group of characters I have essentially kick start each world by solving the puzzle of the Ancients.

You'd think that's telling a lot, but it really isn't.

Of Earth and Of Life are the first two in the series, taking place on element Earth. The next two are Of Air and Of Spirit - those are the two where the explanation for Project Jupiter gets revealed, and how Air coincides with Earth. ^.^ The characters carry over, in a way ... each world, they gain new bodies, with their own memories. Those memories alter their original selves in minor ways, so at the end of the series you have a very diverse and different crew that understand things a lot more intimately than any others. They decide what to do with what the Ancients left them.

Wow I was off for a minute and Proto wrote so much about the book. Sounds amazing! Will defenitely get it.
