Just going to deliver receipts to the celebrities we evidently have here. But I wanted to stop and say I'm not ignoring any of you. I never could. My night is going well so far. Got three pages done in the next book, and I'm going to try to write more when I'm done. Just finished the part with Sapphire and Gea for now; it felt like I needed more, but it's really a perfect spot to cut back to the Trials, as while it felt like it needs more there's nowhere else to go with it until the Trials are nearly over and they're almost cut in half by giant saws.

The more I look at Jade and you, HE, the more I'm excited to write Of Fire. It's just too perfect. Even the name HellEye is perfect for her. X.x

The reason is Jade's weapon, Death's Blade. Hers is sculpted like a gun, with a blade attached at the end. No barrel. But there is a six shooter style ammunition case where the crystals of the elements go. One for each - Earth, Air, Water, Fire, Darkness, and Light. She can't access the secondary qualities (Life, Spirit, Knowledge, Passion, Courage, Truth) but she has access to the elemental base. So she's an elementalist, in a way. Sound familiar? And her arm was killed by the essence of the old Death, so she can infuse her arm with the different elements too. And no, she won't be a she in Fire.
