I wish I lived up north. It's always cold there, I can't stand the heat. Even 80 degrees Fahrenheit is a no go.

I believe summer time saves like 1 percent of the electricity which is really minor, it was intended to save 20 or so...

summers over here can reach 90F and higher

in the summers I wouldn't mind moving to Alaska or northern Canada
Isn't Barrow, Alaska much colder (right by the Arctic ocean)

Summers can get here also rather hot; last year 40°C in the shadow.
25°C on a summerday is my absolute max

Alaska has its ups and downs, like any other state.
I live close to Barrow but even closer to the Canadian border. yes it is colder.


And Anchorage is more south.

I like Celsius too, but not for weather. I'm too used to Fahrenheit.

Down here summers are 90 degrees the whole time. It absolutely sucks.

Anchorage is around 25°C in the summer (max) to -20°C in the winter. Basically my ideal enviroment.
Fairbanks is a bit too cold for me
