Though they are called "domesticated" foxes... fifty years of selective breeding versus millions of evolution?
They're still wild but not wild enough to be "feral". They really are just tame, vaccinated, fixed, and have a better temperament than any wild fox.
But even dogs can become feral in a matter of weeks, and cats even sooner. Animals are always going to be unpredictable.
