I mean I literally come on here, get stressed about posting, make a post, then get complained at for not responding sooner or for not posting frequently.


It's like a fast-track to depression and more social anxiety. I don't like it in the slightest. What'd I be losing by stopping?

That's interesting Alonzo, i was kind of similar at first, the first few months I rarely posted, now I can't seem to stop - except when sleeping, work, or when driving. When ever I can I will post with my phone

There are two ways, I think either you or we will feel bad.
One: you go back to lurking, making us sad
Two: you try to fight it, interact and maybe it will improve.

What I know is: shyness can go over, just give it time and it will go over.

Since I've decided I'm definitely ceasing my use of this forum along with any other decaying means of communication, I may as well outwardly admit that I suffer from something that means I likely never will be good at talking to people.


I spend 99% of my life at home, alone, I like it like this. I only leave to get food or go the doctors and struggle to talk to whoever I have to on the way. I'm independent at least.

I agree with Bricket. It's your choice but you should fight it if you can, take small steps. Today 5 posts, tommorow 7 and in a week 20. Maybe slower actually. That's my advice at least.

I was stopped from working back in 2013 and placed on benefits due to having multiple breakdowns, so that's my income. I do a lot of quiet community work so I'm comfortable accepting it.
