I should add, so you understand why there's a blatant reference in there - Topaz (The computer speaking to them through the trees) is malfunctioning because earlier in the first book, Aria collapsed tunnels in the Geode's Heart Hot Springs. Turns out that whole setup was his coolant system, so he's overheating. Since he's from our world, the original Earth when it was whole, he knows all of our history. In his malfunctioning state, he speaks in quotes and references frequently.

That's a little reveal even the characters don't know yet. So don't tell them. :3
