Yup. Eastern dragons are more serpentlike as Makias said, and they have fluffy manes, more antler-like horns, fluffy tailtips, stubby legs, no wings and usually whiskers. Western dragons are the more common type. They're the scaly and sometimes spikey ones with long legs, shorter bodies, wings and normal horns. Karasu is a fine example of aneastern dragon/western dragon hybrid, since she's part ice dragon, though she's mostly eastern dragon. Only thing "ice dragony" about her is her coloring and the fact that she lives in the arctic and can breathe a deadly freezing breath. She also has short, thick fur instead of scales, whereas western dragons and even normal eastern dragons have scales.

...Don't mind me, just a dragon-nerd with a collection of about 30 books of dragon facts, 50 storybooks about dragons and countless dragon figures and drawings.
