Need a name for my Fursona.. any ideas?

He is a Raccoon. I'm soooo bad at thinking of names so I thought i'd ask here. I made my fursona like 2 days ago (before i was sure i was a furry) and didn't think of a name. Help me decide!

One good way to search for names is to:
Find a list of names and just read through them, maybe even check out their meanings.
Choose a top 5 list of your favorites/what you feel suits your fursona most.
And at some point one will probably stick with ya.

WHen I came up with Ulvus I took the Latin word for wolf "Lupus" and the Danish word for wolf "Ulv" and mixed them together. Maybe you can do something similar?

There's no Latin word for raccoon. And other languages I tried have strange symbols and all that jazz.

How about "raton laveur" (French for Raccoon) or "mapache" (Spanish for Raccoon)?

Hmm. I dunno, I'd prefer something more original tbh. The word raccoon in another language just doesn't do it for me.

Think of something that reflects on yourself for inspiration for you fursona's name. I thought of mine because I collect voodoo dolls and I think the name Max suites my fursona well) and that's how I came up with my fursona's name (my fursona also carries around a voodoo doll of himself as a reflection of himself). Try to think of hobbies or something that describes you. Do you collect things, or maybe you like to do other things? Try to answer these questions and you may get a better understanding of what your fursona's name will be. If you need help with your fursona's name, feel free to PM me so we can talk about it.
