The being sipped at its tea yet again. "Well.. To put it bluntly... And in a way you might understand... Weird shit is about to go down... And I needed some people with... Power to take care... Of some whack mofos who are... gonna mess this here planet up..." The being chuckled at how silly it sounded and sipped at its tea some more.

Cifero raised his hood a little, staring at the being. "... Uh.... okay, then," he said. "Not sure why you went with 70s lingo, but... I guess I dig it."

Bailey stood up from the couch and looked at the being, "How do you know so much about us?"

Rio walked out of her room, strolling pretty calmly, and wwnt towards the lobby.
She climbed up tue wall when she got to the doorway and watched everythijg happening. She noticed characters and commotion.
"Quite a lively audience we have here today."

She thought and sighed gently "I'm fine, I believe I have no questions.." She replied softly, for now just wanted to listen. Her arms still crossed over her chest, tail swaying up and down as she sat at the edge of the couch. Often looking at the others and studying them with her pupil-less eyes.

The being finished its tea before putting it down. "Well... We have a very interesting group of... people among us... But now... I ask you all a question... Knowing of the imminent and inherent dangers... that come with being here... and living here... Do you still want to reside and take residence... within this compound...?"

Bailey looked at Alka and spook, "What dangers? What's is going to happen to us if we stay?"

Rio cast downwards from her web and "floated" near that voice asking the question.
"I am verily sure I have no issue taking up residence in this quite elegant establishment.
It is a beautoful mansion, if I may say so."
