Viola, gritting her teeth, slipped a dagger away and ran toward the group, pulling her shortsword out as she did so. Just as the man stepped forward to swing, she would try to violently tackle him, sword raised to block a slash in her direction.

As the warrior brought his sword down, Viola's attack knocked him off balance. His sword bit through the chainmailed warrior's arm, sending the limb soaring into the bushes.

Al took his opportunity to break free from the chainmailed warriors grasp, sending a his head crashing into the face of the warrior behind him.

The chainmailed warrior screamed in agony as his arm flew away, and staggered backwards when Al's skull shattered his nose-bone. At the same time, his golden glamour flickered away for a few moments.


Ray was already gone, hanging lifelessly on the gilded cross.

The presence was growing ever stronger. Whoever it was, they were going to make an appearance soon. The rain and thunder wasn't letting up either.


Al saw his opportunity attack the chain mailed warrior, and charged him, pulling another knife from his belt.

Viola got on the plate-mailed man's chest and started forcefully bashing on their helmet with the hilt of her sword.




The figure lowered their ears, then turned their eyes to where Viola was fighting. They had to act fast... something was coming.

Zaida ignored the comforts, she killed... again. It was best if she went back to the tower to rest.

"Hmp, thanks. it's not as soft but it's alright..." Devin shrugged before laying on the side of the bed letting out a relaxed sigh. There was a long silence "Thank you so much for taking those arrows... It means so much. I owe you my life."

Raz stopped trying to comfort her as he couldn't see any other way to do so, so he simply laid in her arms and slowly started to fall asleep in her arms.

The chain mailed warrior began fighting defensively, but his strength was failing him. The crimson torrent from his stump arm left a gruesome path as he backed away.


After a few strikes from Viola, the plate mailed warrior lost his golden glow, and dropped his sword. "I yield! I cannot fight those pure of heart!"

Al began his assault by throwing a knife at the chain-mailed warriors currently bleeding arm. "You're mine." He said as he charged with the other knife in his left hand, fully intent on killing the warrior if he could.

The knife took a bit of flesh with it, but did not find purchase in the chain mail armor. The warrior clashed with Al, his strength still superhuman, even as it faded.

Al saw no point in trying to contest the strength head on, especially since all he had was a knife. So, spun around, hoping that the warrior's strength would through his opponent off balance.

The warrior staggered forward a moment before turning quickly, slashing at Al as he turned.
