Zanthe blinked, then quickly backed out of the cabin, closing the door as Devin had asked.

There was clawing and roaring in the cabin before it fell silent, only his sniffing could be heard growing closer to the door.

Zanthe quickly backed away, her mind racing. Should I strip and make a run for it...? But then he'd know about me... I'd have to leave Soulez again.

[Farewell]

The beast slammed into the door multiple times busting it open. Devin stumbled a bit before catching himself with his front paw, his claws digging in the dirt. Mist rising from his mouth and nose as he slowly stood on his legs, his eyes showing only rage while looking down at the cat fox, huffing heavily.

[Rayleonarde]

Ray looked up at Viola, and spoke softly. "Coming along well...I trust?"

[Cifero Windtail]

Viola nodded. "Very well... I'm just about done, I think," she said, mixing some ingredients.




Zanthe quickly jumped up the nearest tree with surprising speed, thinking to gain a strategic advantage.

He gave a roaring howl at the moon. Devin looked at the catfox scurry up the tree drooling while he growled. The hybrid slammed on the tree beginning to climb up until he stopped looking back and sniffing the air. Luckily the sound and smell of a buck nearby caught his attention, the caped moon feral ran off to hunt.

Zanthe silently jumped to another tree and watched from a distance.

There wasn't much of a chase or fight since the buck unable to react fast enough. Only an easy kill for Devin, he dragged the buck by its antlers to the lake not to far from the cabin. Beginning to eat the deer staining his snout and claws  quite a bit.

Ray nodded, and stood. He walked to an alter, and began to chant. The stone obelisk behind the alter began to splinter and crack.

[Cifero Windtail]

Viola watched on carefully. "What's going on with that...?"




Zanthe hopped into a tree nearer to Devin.

[Rayleonarde]

The obelisk shattered, and formed a portal encased in obsidian. Ray turned, and smiled. "The land of the dead."

[Farewell]

Devin huffed drinking some water, kneeling down and his snout close as he scooped water up with one hand. His other holding the deer's antlers. He looked over at zanthe with his red eyes her growled and gave a warning snarl before continuing to eat and drink.

Viola raised the other eyebrow. "What...?! Is this part of it?" she asked.




Zanthe blinked and hopped back into her previous tree, but continued to watch from on high.

As time passed the feral beast eating the deer he finally began to walk off. He painted and groaned growing sleepy for some odd reason. He collapsed his cape covering his body like a blanket.
A shadow figure covered in armor levitated just over him. She slowly lowered finally touching earth. Zaida sighed kneeling down to look at him.
