Devun looked over at vi and couldn't help but give a small smile, she was resting her head on the other horse. "Yea Vi looks quite peacful besides she does a lot of work. What's your horses name?" He asked.

[Cifero Windtail]

"Korvin," she said. "Their name is Korvin." (And I am unsure of Korvin's sex yet, so... referring to them as they for now.)

[Farewell]

(Alrighty) He looked over. "Korvin, Hm I like it." Devin said glancing back over to the sleeping horses.

[Cifero Windtail]

Zanthe nodded. "Yeah... they've been with me for a while," she said. "They were skittish about my changes at first, but... Well, you saw us."

[Farewell]

"Yea... They really like you" he sighed from his nose looking back at zanthe "I rescued Vi. She was stuck on a bear trap and her mother was killed not to far away... So I carried her back to the cabin to raise her." He said sitting down.

[Cifero Windtail]

Zanthe took a seat beside her. "So... she's kind of like your child?" she asked gently.

Devi smiled lightly. "Yea, I guess she is." He then added.  If anything happened to her I would be devastated."

[Cifero Windtail]

Zanthe nodded. "I understand that feeling," she said.

[Farewell]

"Yea, it's a scary feeling. But I try not to think about the negative things." he looked at her, seemingly staring for quite some time.

[Rayleonarde]

Ray grabbed a few of the stones, and nodded at Jayce. "Well, brother. I thank you. I'm headed home, and I'll visit soon." 


Jayce nodded, and snapped. The stone pillar cracked open, and the portal opened. Ray motioned at Viola, knowing Jayce was occupied keeping the portal open.

Viola nodded and walked carefully through the portal, not looking at Jayce or anyone. (Or she follows. Whichever is safer.)


Zanthe didn't notice at first, then blinked and glanced over. "...Me neither," she said. "Is something up? Did I miss some dye?"

[Rayleonarde]

Ray walked into the portal behind Viola, and stepped back out into the lab, from the same portal they entered through. The portal closed with a peal of thunder, and Ray breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank the gods. We got what we needed, and you didn't get skinned alive." He looked at Viola with a smile, and handed her one of the four soul stones he took.

[Farewell]

He shook his head and responded. "No, you don't." Devin then looked back at the river.

[Cifero Windtail]

Viola looked at the soul stone. "So... what do these do, exactly?" she asked, cocking her head a bit as she examined the stone.


Zanthe kept looking at Devin, sure that there was another reason. "Why were you looking at me, then?" she said, unconsciously scanning his face. The catfox thought that the sabard had rather striking features.

[Farewell]

He scratched the gem in the middle of his neck, slightly blushing but kept a straight face. "I was just looking..." Devin finally answered with a light shrug as he glanced over at the catfox.
