As Ray waited for Viola's response, he tapped his boot-tip on the ground. Instead of stumbling, he floated a foot or so off the ground, and rose another foot higher. The raccoon then dropped to the floor with a thud.

Viola widened her eyes slightly, shifting back a bit from Ray. "Well, er... that's good, then," she managed after a few seconds.

Devin stayed low. Stopping Vi near a tree, he then hopped off her. "Just to be safe. Don't want the horses to get hurt however close so we can mount them and ride off if we need to"

Zanthe nodded and hopped of of Wiglaf/Waxface/whats-its-name by the same tree. "I was thinking the same thing," she said, looking at herself and sighing at her choice of attire. Baring fur was okay when it was part of work, but in combat, it was not very advantageous. Well, it's not like I've never had to do this before, she said, pulling a sword out of one of the saddlebags and belting it on.




Viola followed after Ray. "I followed you into the spirit world," she said. "I'm not going to be put off by something like that. Besides..." The hybrid grinned. "No one should be alone, right?"

Devin stayed low not wearing all of his armor however didn't mean he wasn't prepared. He grabbed zanthes wrist pulling her over to a rock as cover and standing over her, he peaked to see an open Meadow "Hmm? There's nothing. I swear it was in this area... It's gone now" Devin's ears flicked and looked down. "Sorry" he offered a hand. "I was just making sure if there was something you weren't the first target."
