Zanthe flicked her gaze to Devin, then picked up her meal. "... Let's eat outside, Pettle," she said, getting the feeling that Devin might want to be alone rather soon.






Viola stared at the will 'o the wisps. "....Are you guys evil or good or in between?" she asked, not sure what she was supposed to be doing here.

Pettle looked at Devin and nodded picking up a the meat with her tendrils and stuffing it in her flower to digest . She then followed.

Kingdom Alignment: He doesn't align with any one kingdom, seeing their rivalry as nothing but a means to profit from killing. He is technically an outlaw in both, but is still contracted to perform assassinations and attacks on both kingdoms

Weapons: See his weapon reference in my signature. He also has some knowledge of flame magic, but can't use it outside of making his weapons (and fists) more deadly.

Al sat meditating within a forest far away from any town. Animals rested around him, as his focus rested on his body and his surroundings. His breathing remained calm and steady as he readied himself for another long week of hunting and killing.

After a while, Ray tore down the camp, and carried Viola again towards the mountains. As he went, he spotted a stranger meditating, and approached. "You don't happen to be a priest or monk, are you?" Ray silently hoped that the stranger wouldn't panic at the sight of an undead.

[Dr. Alka Wolf]

Al took a deep breath out, and all the animals around him moved away and off into the woods. He stood, holding a knife in one paw. "I'm pretty sure I've been condemned to hell by any and every god there is. Then again, I'm not sure even Satan would want me there." He turned to face Ray. "What's your purpose here? You've disturbed a balance that isn't easy to maintain, for your information."

[Rayleonarde]

Ray sighed. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to disturb your peace. But my friend here," at this he motioned to Viola with his head, "has been cursed. She's been cursed with unconsciousness. Much like the sleeping sickness from years ago."

[Dr. Alka Wolf]

"An unconsciousness curse. I presume by a witch?" Al began strapping his gear to himself, brandishing many weapons of many kinds (again, see his reference. Huge props to Zarco for the great designs).

[Rayleonarde]

Ray shook his head. "The Hunter of the Swamp. I do not recall his name. Though his father was Corr, son of Crom. I regret never learning his name."

[Dr. Alka Wolf]

"The Hunter of the Swamp." Al finally put his signature mask on, and could be recognised. "Well, there are two ways of going about fixing your problem. You either kill whoever placed the curse upon her, or counter it with another curse. Neither solution is easy or cheap."

Ray shook his head. "The Hunter is dead, as my friend is alive. As for money, I have none."

[Dr. Alka Wolf]

"Not wise to be poor in these times. No poor man ever sung a remembered song, you see." Al took out a map and checked the position of the sun (or moon if it's night). "You'll have to seek aid elsewhere I'm afraid. Are you sure your friend is living? Denial is usually what comes first when struck with grief."

[Rayleonarde]

Ray nodded. "She is still breathing. So she is still alive. If you can help me, please do."

[Dr. Alka Wolf]

Al rolled his eyes. Help. As if I'm some good-willed hero. The wolf checked the location of the nearest town and did some hand gestures in order to figure out his bears from it. "I'm no expert on curses, but you look lost. I can lead you to the nearest town, where you may find someone who can help. Small little outlaw town, lots of killers, drunks and witches. But, leading you there is as far as my services go free of charge."

Ray sighed. "Okay. Thank you." He started off towards the small town. "We'll get you uncursed, Viola. Don't you worry."

Al followed behind. "So, may I ask your name?"

Ray nodded. "Most call me Ray. May I ask yours?"
