Zanthe ran into te scene carefully and looked at Devin. She did not show it, but mentally, Pettle would be able to tell that the coyoted catfox was a little amused by the sight. Looks like he's caught up... We'll have to get him out. And let him feast on the corpse.

Zaida took her small bowl off her cupboard before she knelt where the dragling was. Setting it near the dragling, and pouring some water from her canteen for razuel to drink. The monstress offered small strips of jerky at a time. Wanting to hand feed to avoid the little creature from choking if it ate too much or too large a piece that it can handle.

While Devin hung down from the trap struggled some more with roared but it was no use, he was too large to lift all his weight and didn't have much intelligence to undo this trap. The feral then attempted to reach for the dead elk as he hung... clawing, snapping his teeth, sticking his tongue out just for a taste. He immediately stopped and turned his head to the direction he sensed and heard it coming from. The ferals arms hanging down and his tongues sticking out of his mouth while he panted. Despite his menacing appearance he looked quite ridiculous in the situation he was in.

Raz grabbed the piece of jerky and ate it with glee, taking a brake to drink water per every few pieces of jerky, trying to shove pieces in his maw, but stopped to chew when Zaida refused to give him anymore when he had a full mouth, but he understood and waited per each piece.

Once the plant and coyote approached he gave a low growl while baring his teeth, the fur beginning to stand on his neck. Devin attempted to attack them, clawing the dirt and thrashing more with rabid roars, which caused the trap to rattle with his struggle. He eventually stopped and let himself hang. With a huff he gently swung side to side but cautiously kept his eyes on the two.

Zaida heard a few noises and approached the window. A few bandits approached the tower, one quickly made eyes contact with the monsteress. She raised a brow, her ears leaned back, and tail whipped, easily showing her aggravation.

Ray suddenly stopped moving, and started to scan the woodland around him. "I feel...something." He looked to Al, and spoke softly, yet seriously. "Take the girl and run."

[Dr. Alka Wolf]

"Take the girl and run?" Al scoffed. "What do you think I am, some 'morally aligned hero'? That girl is your problem, not mine. I haven't been paid enough for her to be my problem." Yet, Al still readied a knife as his ears stood up in preparation for whatever Ray was sensing.

Raz faintly heard the noises too, and he looked at Zaida's reaction to it, and he started to get scared, letting out a small squeak when heard more movement from outside, causing him to curl up and try to make himself look small.

Ray suddenly shot forward, and held the front of Al's shirt ((or any sort of handhold)). "This is a fight you WILL lose, take the girl. Get her safe." He had a determined look in his eyes, but behind the determination there was an air of abject horror.

[Dr. Alka Wolf]

"I would rather die with a sword through my back than flee with my tail between my legs. Besides... You do not know what I'm truly capable of."Al shoved Ray back and looked around. "Now, care to inform me of what exactly is attacking us?"

((Just fyi, Al is extremely durable. Has managed to survive simultaneous arrow shots, a harpoon through the stomach, having class IV blood hemorrhage and even having a limb severed. Not all within this same RP mind you ))

Ray shook his head. "This is to make sure she survives! Please, do an old warrior a favor and keep this girl safe."

[Dr. Alka Wolf]

Al rolled his eyes. "If it'll keep your trap shut, I don't see why I can't. But, you've still yet to inform me what I'm up against, which will put me at a disadvantage." Al looked over at Viola, lying there on the ground. He thought she was more trouble than was worth, but [against his better judgement] decided to help.

[Rayleonarde]

Ray sighed. "Two warriors. I know not where they hail from, nor do I know whose banner they serve. They are ruthless, undying." He looked around a moment, before speaking again. "Their weapons charmed to dispel any and all magic from what they strike. The deathless hordes of the Flayed even fall before them." Ray shook his head. "Please...take the girl. I beg you. Her life is too young to be lost now."

[Dr. Alka Wolf]

"Undying you say? As in, unkill-able? Immortal?" Al hoisted Viola up into his arms, putting his knife away. "If that's the case, I don't see how you staying behind will help at all."

[Rayleonarde]

Ray stood upright, placed his helmet upon his head, and turned away from Al. "I do not seek to defeat them. I look to buy you time. Now go!"

[Dr. Alka Wolf]

Al smirked. "Can't quite remember the last time I took orders from someone..." Al looked up quickly just to establish his rough bearings, before darting off in the direction of the town

Ray drew his massive sword, held it beside himself, and whispered quietly to himself. "Once more, with feeling."


Kirriah, who had been inspecting Viola's bandage, suddenly sat bolt upright, and looked Viola in the eye. "Were you good friends with Ray?"
