Blaine and his squad moved around to the hall to the bridge, spotting a few marines in combat. Blaine ordered the Marauders to support them, and took the Spartans to the bridge door. "Damn, it's locked. Anyone got a breaching charge?" He asked, one pulling out a charge and began to attach it to the door.


Levu silently stared at Zuko, breathing heavily. "Just do it. Just kill me. I'll die anyway." He asked, before the door blew apart, the Spartans then Blaine piling through.


Blaine looked to Zuko and moved up to him. "So this is the great commander I've been hearing about? Looks like hell." Blaine said, looking down at Levu. "Heretic scu-" Levu growled before Blaine kicked his mandibles. "No one was talking to you, so shut it." Blaine growled, "So, we're getting the ship secured. Want me to take care of him or do you...?" Blaine asked Zuko, gesturing his rifle to Levu.

*** CSS Resplendent Fervor, Star Forge system ***

Zuko sighed wearily. "You could have died with honor... as a Sangheili... But you chose to follow an old flag, thinking you had new ideas to bring to it. Thinking you could resurrect something that died years ago. Ironic that the Sith you served thought the same way. Too wrapped up in the past to see what's ahead. Not judging." He would suddenly lash out and put his sword through his chest, where his heart would be. "You will not stain the honor of the Sangheili, Kaidon. You were the traitor. The blinded one. And now, you die without your honor. Such a waste." Zuko removed his blade, then bellowed a Sangheili Vengeance cry. He extinguished his weapon, then turned to Blaine, giving him a respectful nod.

A female Spartan and two female Sangheili Marauders approached Blaine. "Sir... we could use this vessel to help the fleet take out that Star Forge," she suggested.

Zuko looked at the screen depicting the battle - and it was going in their favor, against the Sith Forces. The Sith warships were in disarray.

Blaine looked to the same terminal and glanced back at the Spartan. "Man the weapons, and get us ready to take out that fleet." He ordered, grabbing his comm unit. "I got your boy, he's all good. We're turning the ship and opening fire on the Sith fleet" Blaine said to Andrew, watching the new crew of Spartans and Sangheili work at retargeting the ship.

*** Draco City, Dragon'taan ***

Fawn shook his head, "N-no... I need closure... I-I have to come with you two...", Fawn wiped the tears from his face, "I'll be fine... but as for now, tell your wife to just give your daughter ginger tea until I get back there... and when we get back, I'll see what's wrong...", Fawn did need the closure, but he was still unsure if this would get it.

*** Flagship Chimera, In Transit to Belsavis ***

Gypsie put her hands on Kyle's shoulders, bringing him into a quick hug while a hand stroked his back, "No cry... If no want, then you no tell... I wait...", she wouldn't let go out of the hug, even if he would resist it, in an attempt to let him lower his defenses and cry into her or yell into her like a pillow

*** Draco City, Dragon'taan ***

"Very well," Kyle told Fawn, "But listen to me when I say this - there is a stark difference between vengeance and justice. Take it from me, vengeance never brings the peace you think it will. I've been down that road before - and it only ends in blood and suffering. It is stated in my family's legend that 'when the dragon prince saw the ashes of what had been his domain, he let loose a fury that shook the stars; the many worlds of his enemy burned and died, the darkness that consumed his home becoming a mere shadow of the power it once held - from the death of one world, came the deaths of many.' A lesson about the folly of vengeance."

"We need to move, before Reece realizes something's up," Mathayus suggested.

*** CSS Resplendent Fervor, Star Forge system ***

"Affirmative," Andrew would say over the radio. "Be advised, we have Sangheili reinforcements inbound - and someone must have called a favor, because we have Imperial Alliance warships inbound, as well. Watch your targets."

"Blaine," Zuko called out to Blaine. "We haven't heard the last of Nazar - his ship has reversed course, and is inbound - with another fleet of vessels. It seems the Star Forge is too important to let fall."

*** Flagship Chimera, In Transit to Belsavis ***

"Tell you... don't tell you... what difference does it make?" Kyle said, his eyes watery and tears streaming. "I can still hear them..." It was painfully clear he was coming undone in Gypsie's arms. "I can still... hear them, screaming in terror as they're burned alive. Murdered... by the wrath of someone they provoked... a creature they didn't understand. One who couldn't control his rage or his power, one who was abused, used, and tormented... such actions always create a monster... and it's only a matter of time before that monster goes on to attack others or turns around and bites them back..." He buried his face in Gypsie's shoulder, sobbing. "Mother... Grandfather... both my brothers... three hundred years, and I can still hear their screams in my head... I still wonder if they could have seen the truth, before it was too late." Just saying so made Kyle slam his eyes shut and sob harder as he remembered the screams of that night... the night when a dragon's rage murdered his family, set fire to his home...

... and set him free.

"What would you do? I know we can't take them all, at least from this. The shields haven't even come to full capacity," Blaine asked, pacing around. He stopped and took his helmet off, and set his rifle down. "We can't teleport to Nazars' flagship, that's for damned sure.." Blaine grumbled, lighting a cigarette and wiping the sweat from his fur.

*** Draco City, Dragon'taan ***

Fawn nodded, "I understand... L-lets go... briskly!", he then looked up, taking his omni-tool out, "How about a faster route?", he aimed up at flying cars passing over, "A private known as Simmons, once told me that if there's an easier way to do things, why not exploit them... and this is how he got our coffees in the morning... off base mind you, which was frowned upon, but the superiors didn't mind... I think he's a stores officer now... at least that's what he was the last time I saw him...", he lowered his tool and looked at the two, a look of adrenaline and eagerness back on his face, "So, what overpass am I looking to get off at? I can meet you two there."

Gypsie held him closer, rubbing his back gently, "Sh sh sh shh... is okay... past is gone... do not dwell... is bad for mind...", she took his shoulders and held him in front of her, looking into his eyes with a kind and concerned look, "Do metal trap have tree dome? Big for life? I have idea... but need large area... and hide material..."

"If we go, son, we go together. I'll cover the air," Kyle said, shifting to his dragon form and taking off. Mathayus walked with Fawn.

"I'd do the same, but I... well, I'll tell you later; let's get moving. I'll navigate, you drive," Mathayus said, as a modified, six-wheeled variant of the M12 LRV drove up. They stopped just shy of Mathayus and Fawn. "You fellas need a lift?" the driver asked.

"How convenient," Mathayus commented.

*** Flagship Chimera, In Transit to Belsavis ***

"Not exactly a tree dome, but... feel free to use Cargo Bay six. Whatever you need, the replicators can create... or we could pick it up on Belsavis. One or the other," Kyle said, his voice still quivering. He looked into Gypsie's eyes and said, "Thank you... I haven't been able to do that in a long time. Even Gunny couldn't get that from me."

*** CSS Resplendent Fervor, Star Forge system ***

"We'll be fine," Zuko assured his ONI companion. "Zuko to Andrew - is that defense beam still operational?"

There was a pause before Andrew responded, "That's affirmative - stand by..." The ship would jolt slightly as it was hit by a beam from the Allegiance, and the shields would begin to recharge at a rate faster than the ship itself could produce. As this happened, Zuko frowned.

"This is interesting..." he commented. "And it would be handy against Nazar's flagship."

Blaine strapped his rifle to his back and his helmet to his side, then moved to the main console. "I guess we wait for the first move. I'll leave the commanding to you, Zuko. I was a Marine, not a swabbie," Blaine said, gesturing to the commander's seat of the bridge. He took a seat in the co-command section and waited.

"Even so - take a look at this," Zuko said, indicating the screen - which held technical readouts and statuses of shipboard systems.

Blaine looked at the terminal, examining the statuses and readouts. "What am I supposed to be seeing here?" Blaine asked, "I know the engines should still be functioning. We didn't have to cut them during the assault."

*** CSS Resplendent Fervor, Bridge ***

"Not that, these," Zuko said, highlighting two specific systems. "Levu must have adapted these from Romulan Tech and installed them aboard this ship; the first is a Shield Inversion Beam - it'll quickly drain a ship's shields, leaving it open for attack; the second is a Myotronic Inhibitor Beam - a weapon that can disable weapons temporarily. You follow?"

*** Draco City, Dragon'taan ***

Fawn put a paw on Mathayus's shoulder, "Are you sure we can just hop in a random car? If Reece has caught on now, don't you think he would be sending people after us to buy himself time? I think we should take my route... even through it is a bit dangerous..."

*** Flagship Chimera, In Transit to Belsavis ***

Gyspie took Kyle's hand and led him out, following the signs that had a crate symbol on them to go to the cargo bay, and when she got there, she went to what she thought was the fabricator, before she gave up and looked at Kyle, "Need fire, hide for tipi, dense and dark... and fire... and stones...", she was making gestures with her hands to help her explaining.

"No need to worry, pal," Izzy's voice came from a nearby radio. "Sent these boys your way to lend a hand. Reece hasn't a clue what's going on, and is calling for help - but not getting a signal through."

"The both of us have a bone to pick with Reece," the driver of the jeep said.

Mathayus looked to Fawn. "What did you have in mind? They can still run escort if you have another idea."

*** Flagship Chimera, In Transit to Belsavis ***

Kyle nodded in understanding, and walked over to the Replicator, his hands dancing along the console an abundance of what Gypsie needed. He was getting it all to her using the Force when the ship shuddered slightly. Kyle frowned a bit, then shrugged. "Must've engaged the Slipstream Drive. Hnh..." He set the materials down at Gypsie's feet. "Am I missing anything?" he asked her.

"Oh yeah, we can drop Nazar's flagship shields and weapons, then we can sneak on board." Blaine replied, finishing his cigarette before sitting back down at co captain seat. "Or at least take down the Sith fleet if he decides to high tail it." Blaine added.
