"Believe me, I used to think the same thing - until I met you. Then I realized that such things do exist in the galaxy we live in," Kyle said softly. He held Gypsie close. "It's okay, Gypsie... I'm right here. I always will be." He continued rocking her gently, softly humming a soothing tune in her ear.

*** Indari Manor, Dragon'taan ***

"Daddy and I went shopping to get a gift for mommy," Kira said. "Then he let me watch The Voyager Logs when we got home."

"Is that right?" Anna asked with a smile and crossed arms.

Kyle chuckled. "Traitor..."

*** UNSC Allegiance, Captain's Quarters ***

Luro chuckled, "I don't remember Superman wearing armor. Regardless, I thank you all for your assistance in this affair - I had it on good authority that the Lost Star Forge was in UNSC Space, but I was unaware of its exact location. Had it not been for you, I likely would not have found it until well after Levu and Nazar began their assaults into UNSC Space."

"Cousin... are you coming home, now?" Zuko asked.

"I'd be lying if I said no," Luro answered. "But heed my warning: The Star Forge isn't the only thing out there, waiting to be found. In my travels, I came across mention of something called 'The Eternal Fleet'. Does the name mean anything to any of you?"

Andrew frowned, then shook his head. "Can't say it does for me," he replied.

Blaine shook his head, "Not in my time, I haven't." He ran his hand through his hair and took a drag of his cigarette.

Gypsie shuddered her breathing until she calmed down, leaning into Kyle and holding him to her with her tails, not wanting to move
*** Indari Manor, Dragon'taan ***

Fawn pulled his scanner back and looked at the data, patting Kira's head and looking to Kyle and Anna standing in the doorway, "Stomach flu... Nothing bad... but do bring her outside occasionally. Staying inside isn't the best of all things... that or open her window when she sleeps."

Fawn walked toward the two and pressed his scanner against Kyle's head, it beeping instantly, "And a protective father.", he lowered his scanner and holstered it.

Kyle held onto Gypsie, letting her relax in his arms. After a while, he asked her, "Are you hungry?"

*** Indari Manor, Dragon'taan ***

Kyle smiled. "You would be, too, if you had kids," he said.

"I hate to interrupt, High General, but you have an incoming report from our Liaison, Captain Harrison," Izzy said quietly. Kyle sighed.

"Duty calls. I'll take that in the den - stick around. You might get to meet my father."

*** UNSC Allegiance, Captain's Quarters ***

Andrew slid Luro a glass of the blue drink as he refilled Blaine's. "Admittedly," Luro said, "I know almost nothing of it. That's another reason I wish to follow you back to Sangheilios; I need to ask Uncle Thel if he knows anything of it."

"If he does, he never mentioned it to us," Zuko said.

When all glasses were full, Kyle raised his glass. "To new alliances and old friends," he toasted.

Blaine raised his and tinked it against the others, "Any may our trigger fingers never be tired," He said before downing his drink. He groaned and gasped, then laughing.

"Well aside from one console , no thank to Krystal the ship is in good shape i think we can take her to dry dock to unload prisoners and refit the ship" Nari noted.

Gypsie nodded with her head burried in his chest, "Y-yes..."

*** Indari Manor, Dragon'taan ***

Fawn nodded, "I probably would, but I would also teach them basic survival skills so I wouldn't have to worry too much.", Fawn waved as Kyle would leave, "Sure thing... is there anything good to eat here? I've been living off of gruel for the past years... really, even a brick has more flavor!", he then let out a soft chuckle.

Kyle would help Gypsie get back to his quarters, where a fresh meal was being set out on the nearby table for them both by Hector. "Assurance: No need to worry, Master - I got to the meal just in time and was able to finish it while you were away." Both plates were adorned with berries, jungle fruit, and nice, thick slabs of Boar meat.

*** Indari Manor, Dragon'taan ***

Anna chuckled. "After all that, I imagine my sister-in-law's cooking would sound good. She's been a bit loopy, lately, and I think I know why." Anna gave Kira a gentle, motherly kiss on her forehead before leading Fawn out to the Kitchen. "Oh, good - she's not cooking," she sighed.

"I heard that!" came Maria's voice from upstairs.

"God, I can hear Markus laughing now..." Anna grumbled.

*** Dragon'taan Orbit ***

The Unseen Assailant hailed the Klingon Vessel, and Saraabi waited impatiently for her mother or her mother's colleague to answer. There was something she suspected about that cloaking device.

*** UNSC Allegiance, Uncharted System ***

"Give it... five minutes. Maybe six. Then you'll start to feel the effects," Andrew chuckled.

"Romulan drinks like that have a powerful kick," Zuko agreed.

"That they do," Luro added as he downed his glass.

Blaine coughed and clenched his chest, "And it burns!" He yelled, laughing. Taking a seat, he said, "So, how far out to Sangheilios? And what exactly am I being recognized for? I'm normally never given the whole nine yards, more of 'here's a medal which we'll need back because technically you weren't supposed to be doing what you did'." Blaine asked, knocking back another drink and finishing his smoke.

Gypsie looked at the food laid out before her, seeing the hands draw away from her she lunged at the food and quickly started to eat, her tails flicking frantically in happiness

*** Indari Manor, Dragon'taan ***

Fawn pressed a button on his helmet and a little chef's plume popped up, "Would you mind if I made something? I may have not eaten nothing but gruel, but I can even make something like that taste like a feast!", out of his pocket he pulled out a quite rare cookbook('Spices and Wolfing: The guide to quick and delicious dishes!'), "What? This has some really good stuff... even the chocolate milk dishes could be improved with these spices... given the ingredients are expensive for the spices... If you want I can leave this book with you..."

"UNSC FLEETCOM is going to be issuing you an official commendation, it seems," Andrew said, having since opened a message from Earth. "One you'll be keeping. Thel wishes to recognize you for not only finding a lost nephew, but keeping safe one of his sons, destroying a serious galactic threat, and upholding the Honor of the Sangheili."

*** Flagship Chimera, Approaching Belsavis ***

"Observation: Someone was hungry," Hector commented.

"She isn't the only one," Kyle responded as he began to eat. He paused in between bites to ask, "How soon till we hit Belsavis?"

"Answer: We'll be entering orbit in twenty-six minutes," Hector answered. "Statement: After Gypsie's episode, Gemini is keeping away so as not to scare her again. Her neural patterns were... erratic."

"Well, let's hope the trip to that Tropical Rift on Belsavis helps. Speaking of which..." Kyle looked to Gypsie. "You might want to dress for that. I don't know what will be in that rift."

*** Indari Manor, Dragon'taan ***

Anna laughed. "Yeeeeeaah, no. I'd rather not give preggers up there any new ideas."

"I HEARD THAT, ANNA!" Maria shouted from upstairs, after which she was quickly soothingly spoken to by her husband.

"But seriously, I'm happy she and Mathayus are having a baby. It'll do Mathayus some good, after what he went through," Anna said. "Though I worry this baby will be hit with the same defect Mathayus did."

"Funny, I never thought in a million years that a Marine would be honored at Sangheilios" Blaine said, chuckling. He rubbed the ODST tattoo on the inside of his forearm and sighed. "That war was hell on everyone, especially in New Mombassa. That was when the Covenant turned on the Sangheili, wasn't it?" He asked, looking to Luro and Zuko.

Finished all of her food by the time the two finished talking, "Why? It's only you and I... and isn't the planet uninhabited?"

Fawn chuckled and nodded, "Alright, well... how does simple breadcrumbs and milk on beef sound? It doesn't take too long... and do you want to take care of the mashed potatoes?"
