The merc Alex wasn't facing would suddenly grab her from behind, but would just as suddenly and drop to the floor as something impacted the back of his head. The dragon would now be looming over Alex, his assault rifle in his hands, his stance suggesting he had hit the merc over the head with the stock of his weapon. In a blur, he pointed the weapon at the other merc, now crying in pain holding his groin.
"Next time a lady says no, f*** off," the dragon growled.

"Oh, you think--no, no, it's not an addiction, it was a one-time thing she was talked into. I already had words with her about that. She just needs a fresh start, the debt paid off, so she can move here," the teller explained.

The transmission cut out, and Anna's ship would receive sets of coordinates before the cruiser turned and headed out-system. Attached to the coordinates was a short message: "Meet the attack force at these coordinates, then head to the base here. Destroy what you deem necessary, but leave the command post more or less undamaged until we get what we're after and get clear. When we are, we'll send a signal and you can blast the command post to bits."

Keesha roared as a dragon as she began to glow with a blood-red aura that seemed to dance like flames around her body. In an instant, she then appeared just as massive as Malachai was, and held her lightsabers - enlarged as well - at the ready, and her mind began forming a kinetic ball before her that seemed to pulsate and grow as it gathered energy.

Andru and Inorra, along with the holographic troops, all fought with renewed vigor as the enemy's numbers dwindled. Andru, especially, was slicing and dicing the enemy, often hacking off limbs and heads.
