"We just need something to coordinate aboard the ship..." Steiner said, looking around. He spotted his dead officer, and nabbed the comms from him, handing it to Katin. "These operate on a different frequency - I might be able to unlock it, and you'll have a direct line to me."

When the Star Destroyer didn't receive a response, it spoke again on that open frequency: "Unrecognized craft, if you are having issues with communications equipment, my ship can be sent text-based messages. Otherwise, if your intent in this system is not hostile... flash a light or approach this ship at a slow speed. Be assured, we have no weapons or shields powered; we have no intention of harming you. We just want to find out who you are and what you are doing here."

K'Tath entered the bar, and spotted his contact. Approaching casually, he sat next to him. "Is she ready?" he asked quietly.
"Indeed," the contact said. He slid an access chip to K'Tath. "And all tech aboard is registered - including the Borg stuff. I hope you know how hard that stuff was to acquire."
"And you knew if it were easy, it wouldn't have squared us," K'Tath said. "Where is she?"
"Landing Bay 30, other side of the spaceport; get moving. Bad characters looking for you," the contact warned.
K'Tath looked concerned. "Anyone in particular?" he asked.
"Strange man with nano-augs. Says he's your distant cousin. Human," the contact responded. K'Tath nodded, and took the access chip. He walked to Cobalt and took her gently by the arm.
"We need to move, double-time," he whispered to her.

"I would prefer we retrieve them, so we can examine them later to determine viability and if they hold anything we could use," Lana said, following close behind. "How much further?"
Luro heard Tristan's name, and frowned slightly. He was looking about nervously, and stammering. Either the boy was lying, or he was scared. Or both. Luro reached out, put his hands on Tristan's shoulders, but did not grip them, and spoke softly, "Son... there is no need to fear me, and there is no need to lie to me. I will not harm you, nor will any of my personnel. But if I am to return you to your family, I need to know who you really are and what you're doing here..." he paused to consider the environment. "... but I imagine the deserts of Korriban are not an ideal environment to discuss such a thing." He leaned his head down to Tristan's level. "Listen to me, young one; I am not your enemy, and I can get you home, but to do that I need the truth from you. For now... follow me. I will take you to my ship. Stay close to me, and the troops will leave you alone." He then rose to his full, eight-foot-six height, and took a few steps toward where his drop ship landed. Looking back at Tristan, he added, "Trust me, young sir - you don't want to stay here. If the local wildlife doesn't get you, the Dark Side energies will. Even my own men and women have occasionally fallen victim to both. This place is not safe. Come with me. I'll get you home."

Fox tried to respond to Fel's transmission, but the signal was so garbled, it was impossible to make out any message. And the creature stalked the entrance of the outpost from above, waiting for someone to come out. Motion trackers would get ghost signals, but nothing more.

"Later," Viktor said, helping Storm up. "We need to get going." He started for a nearby exit and asked, "Either of you armed?"

Vitani beamed aboard from her ship to an area affected by the virus - the computers would not have detected her arrival. With her were a fire team of Commando droids. They all started heading into the halls of the ship...

"Relax, sweetie," Kabby chuckled, noting Tyber's nervousness.
"Yeah, your mother was the same way with me, when she and I were dating," Victor added. This did not ease Tyber's apprehension, staring at Shiloh as a thousand different sensations fired off in his head.

"Well, you've come to the right people," Vokun told Tybalt. He indicated Tigress. "This is Colonel Tigress Arcnon, she's Dragon'taan's Master Developer and Quartermaster. She and I are responsible for many of the things that show up on Dragon'taan. Now, what kind of body were you looking for?"
