Stowe picked up his radio and spoke with a humble voice, "I would love too."

As the elevator reached the Bridge, the doors parted and the Marines would lead Blaine to the Bridge itself. Standing before the forward viewport were two figures - the first easily-recognizable as a Sangheili, with a modified Storm Rifle strapped to his back. The second was a Spartan in the Mjolnir-X Armor, specifically issued to the Spartan-X series. Attached to his back was an RX Hybrid H7M1 Assault Rifle.

The Sangheili looked over his shoulder, and, noticing who was behind the marines, bumped the Spartan. "Andrew," he spoke to him in perfect English. The Spartan looked over to his Sangheili companion, then turned around to see the Marines approaching with Blaine.

"Captain Harrison, Captain 'Vadam, sir!" the Vulpine greeted the two as he and his Lupine buddy snapped to attention. Harrison saluted them, then spoke,

"Than you, both." The two marines left Harrison and 'Vadam alone with Blaine. "Alright, don't keep me in suspense - what's ONI need this time?" he asked Blaine.

Blaine immediately activated his command neural interface, normally only for UNSC Fleetcom but a perk of being an ONI operator was acquiring high-level tech. He pulled up the footage from the Sedra attack and played it through the Allegiances' bridge screen. "Two weeks ago, UNSC obtained this footage of a convoy attack near Sedra through a Marine's helcam," he stated, moving closer to the screen and pointing out the rebels. "The aggressors, which we have identified as members of the United Rebel Front, are armed with Covenant weaponry. Now apart from the obvious question of how the hell some Insurrectionists managed to obtain Covenant tech, I think we all know what this means for the UNSC," he said, finally focusing on the Spartan and the Sangheili. Blaine lit a cigarette and looked out the bridge windows, "If the URF gains enough steam and morale from these attacks, it could mean another full-out war that quite frankly, the UNSC can't afford.", Blaine looked back at the Spartan & Sangheili, waiting for a response.

"I'm in agreement so far," Frosty said.

"As am I," agreed Zuko. "So... what is it ONI needs us to do?"

[Blaiiine]

"According to intel we've acquired, the next attack may possibly be on Sedra. ONI and HIGHCOM have ordered us to take a infiltration size squad and make sure this attack does not happen. And maybe then, we can figure out how they are acquiring this weaponry," Blaine finished, putting his cigarette out on his leg plate. He knew it much more than finding some weapons dealer. This had Covenant-interference written all over it, but the Spartan and Sangheili didn't need to know until he decided they did. He pulled up a map of the Orrichon system to the main screen, "I'm sure you two are familiar with the Orrichon system, home to Sedra. We're not necessarily allowed to commit combat operations on non-UNSC planets but ONI doesn't care. This is a black operation and you two should treat it as such," He pulled the map down and shut off his CNIs' connection. Blaine slicked his hair back and looked to the Spartan. "Now that business is done, let me introduce myself. Former Sgt. Blaine Everson serial no. 65309-2553-BE," Blaine held his hand out to Frosty, hoping he wouldn't crush his hand despite his own armor.

Frosty took Blaine's hand and shook it, just as normal as a normal human. "Captain Andrew Harrison, but most call me Frosty. Only one who calls me by my name is Zuko over here."

Zuko, not unfamiliar with such a human custom, extended his hand. "Zuko 'Vadam, son of Thel 'Vadam," he introduced himself.

"Helm, set course for the Orrichon system, engage at will," Frosty commanded his crew. Looking back at Blaine, he added, "Unless you have something else you need to do while were over Reach."

Blaine looked to Harrison while shaking Zukos' hand, which was a first even for Blaine. He was normally used to rogue Elites trying to take his head off with energy swords. "No, I was told my effects would be moved to some form of quarters. And the Pelican that dropped me left supplies. I could use a drink, though. Where would I find that on this tub?", Blaine said to Harrison. He had two vices, smoking and drinking. He was constantly berated by ONI officers for his habits but as Blaine viewed it, combat would kill him before cancer or liver failure.

(I wouldn't advise referencing alcohol here. Last time I did that, one of the mods warned me about that.)

"Depends largely on the drink," Harrison responded.

"If I may venture an opinion, the ship's cola is the best. But if you're looking for Alcohol... we have none. Well, we might still have a few cases of Ruby Bleils, after that last op on... what, Coruscant?" Zuko spoke.

"No, that was Nar Shaddaa - when FLEETCOM pointed us at Reelo Baruk," Frosty told his Sangheili companion. "Coruscant was when we picked up that... Mandalorian fella, whatever his name was..."

It was then that the ship went into slipspace, and Frosty motioned his head for Blaine to follow. "Come with me - I might have a few bottles of Juma Juice left. Just don't let Zuko get into it."

"Andrew. That was only one time," Zuko growled.

Blaine silently followed, feeling a little queasy. He had gone through the slipspace process multiple times but could never get used it like most others. He slung his rifle over his shoulder, looking around. His training naturally kicked in, observing and analyzing. It was second nature, even in friendly situations. "So...Spartan and Sangheili. Bit of an odd couple, even with the whole end of the Covenant thing," Blaine asked, semi-jokingly, as he fumbled with his helmet.

"We're not a couple - more along the lines of Battlefield Brothers," Frosty corrected Blaine.

"Andrew and I have seen a lot of action together. We represent what my father strives to achieve between the Sangheili and the UNSC," Zuko added. They soon arrived at the Captain's quarters, where Frosty went to his fridge and dug around, muttering,

"Now where did I leave that stuff...?"

Zuko turned to Blaine. "I have to admit, I'm surprised the Innies are so active - between the casualties inflicted on them by the Covenant during the Human-Covenant war and the pounding they took when they provoked Lord-Admiral Tokarev... I didn't think they'd have the nerve to pull off what you told us about, let alone acquire Covenant tech." He paused, then asked, "I wonder - did you ever meet Lord-Admiral Tokarev?"

*** Indari Manor, Dragon'taan ***

There was a pause before a masculine voice came on the line: "This is High General Kyle Indari. To whom am I speaking, if I may ask?"

[Blaiiine]

"I've heard of him through intel reports on the UAC. Never meet him, though. That'd be a job for the UNSC brass, I just do grunt work," Blaine replied as he set his rifle down, along with his helmet. He hardly ever met with any brass outside ONI and HIGHCOM. And even then, it was videocom and strictly orders. No medals, no pats on the shoulder. But he preferred that to being a hero plastered over the galaxy. "So I noticed you haven't given me the third degree yet," Blaine stated as he lit a cigarette, "Normally when I get attached to a squad, I interrogated. I mean, they normally do a crapjob but they try."

"Is there any reason we should?" Zuko asked, crossing his arms. "Something you haven't told us?"

"Found it!" Frosty proclaimed from the fridge. He rose, shut the door, tossed a blue bottle to Zuko, and continued, "Here - so you don't feel left out. That stuff, I know you can handle." He handed a red bottle to Blaine and added, "A piece of advice - if you or anyone in ONI comes across anything regarding Imperial ships operating in allied space... report it to Lord-Admiral Tokarev. And High General Indari, for that matter; Imperial ships out here can mean only one thing:"

"Zaarin," Zuko concluded after he took a swig from that blue bottle.

"I don't suppose you know of him?" Frosty asked. "We've got a few hours before we hit our destination."

[Blaiiine]

"Has something to do with the Empire if you're talking about Star Destroyers. I've had maybe one interaction with the Empire and it wound up in two dead troopers and a leg wound," Blaine replied, opening the bottle and taking a swig. He took another drag from his cigarette. "Why don't tell me about him? I promise not to record it," Blaine joked, rapping the camera on his helmet with his fingers.

"Well, neither of us know much about him," Frosty said.

"All we know is that he was once an Imperial Grand Admiral who led a coup against Palpatine - and against all odds, succeeded," Zuko explained. "In his 'verse, he then proceeded to decimate the Rebels, exterminate all those with Force Powers. Wanted to erase force-sensitives from the face of his 'verse - and he got his wish. Now, he rules his Empire with an iron fist, and has been known to send 'disavowed' forces to probe the various factions in this Galaxy."

"Ever since the last war with him - that was fought between the DMC, UAC, and Zaarin's Empire," Frosty said. "Ever since then, he's been poking and prodding everyone. So far, hasn't tried his hand against the UNSC, as far as I know."

"He has probed the Sangheili - twice," Zuko added. "Regardless, that's as much as anyone knows. Only one who'd know more is the Lord-Admiral himself; has a bone to pick with him. More than once, when Zaarin's boys overstep their territory, he's been there to send them right back."

[Blaiiine]

Blaine took another drink and a final drag from his cigarette. "Maybe I should be interrogating you two. This is more than what the UNSC, hell even ONI, knows on the Empire. We've known about the probing parties but never had any hostile interactions," He finished as he fiddled with his knife. He wasn't lying about that, but he was about the recording. Blaine's CNI picked it all up, prepped it and saved it to be sent to Col. Ackerson back at ONIHQ.
