The Silent Enemy

[Razuel]

Razuel opened his Bottle of rum, with a slight spark bursting out momentarily from the bottle, "Do you guys want some?"

[Alessia Starfurr]

"I don't drink thanks." Tigress replied, simply, setting up her meal of fried chicken and mashed potatoes  on her tray

[Razuel]

Razuel shrugged, "Alrighty then, anyone else, no? Okay then, I'm gonna go see what Keri's doing.", Razuel then went to the bridge.

[Alessia Starfurr]

"Despite her history Keri can take care of herself now." Tigress noted.


Indeed, Keri was still on the bridge trying to figure out why the Elachi attacked.

[Razuel]

Razuel walked into the bridge, "Hey, Keri!... are you okay?", Razuel took a drink from his rum.

[Alessia Starfurr]

"I think the question is, are you?" Keri asked clearly able to smell and see what Razuel was drinking.


(So on another note did you mind if I called you and your character here 'Raz' for short?)

[Razuel]

Razuel looked a little surprised, "Oh, you mean the drink? No, no, I'm fine. Don't worry I'm still sober.", Razuel turned his attention back to Keri, "Beside my well being, are you okay, Keri? You look like something is bothering you."

"Nothing horribly important , just wondering why the Elachi attacked that planet out of all the others." Keri replied simply.

"Well, it's fairly oblivious to me also to why they attacked that planet... What else did you find in that cave, Keri?"

Jason went about cooking, wondering himself why the Elachi had deemed it prudent or necessary to attack Virinat. There was nothing there that warranted a military action of any kind. He popped a cola while the requested Rabbit Stew (forgive me if that's wrong, I have a bad memory) simmered. "Farming equipment... retired military personnel and farmers... easily-agitated local creatures... what use is any of that to the Elachi...?" he mused generally to himself before taking a sip of his cola.

"What about people, they have much use for slaves? Only thing i can think of."

[Romulan_Furry]

"Mm... a possibility, I'll admit," Jason said, serving up Alec's dish, "But no one knows for certain what the Elachi do with those they abduct. You saw what they did at Virinat - they were snatching people left and right. But why? What could they want with old, retired military personnel and farmers? Again, slaves is a possibility, but slaves for what?"

[Alessia Starfurr]

"My computer is still going over the metallurgical scans , but that thing we found was a beacon of some sort." Keri replied.

"Do you still have the probe, by any chance? We could dismantle it and see if the inner components hold any secrets."
