The Silent Enemy

"I'm as much of a stranger to this as they are", Razuel shrugged, " however, I'm willing to help if this is posing an issue. "

[Romulan_Furry]

"That's just it," the Maiori sighed, "I don't know much about them myself. I have no idea if they pose a threat, and I don't know why they would want to attack this place, let alone what they would want."

"So we have no choice but to keep this hushed until we know more," Jason suggested.

"Right," the Maiori responded, "I will not risk a riot. But... I am relying on you lot to get the colonists out of here should these Elachi attack."

Jason hesitated fractionally before saying, "Let's hope we can get them to a ship should evacuation prove necessary. I don't have one." Even as he said this, he trembled slightly, either out of trepidation or outright fear.

[Alessia Starfurr]

"Unfortunately, my ride left as well." Tigress muttered.

[Razuel]

"I might be able to get us a ship, however it may not arrive for a day or two.", Razuel was typing into a small pad.

[Alessia Starfurr]

"I dunno if that'll be fast enough." Tigress replied simply.

[Romulan_Furry]

"I'd be inclined to agree," Jason added. "So let's hope the Elachi don't decide to attack."

 Kavin walked the city streets head constantly in motion surveying everything, having just arrived he had made sure to eat and at the recommendation of the locals decided he would get some vacation time in before moving on.

Kavin would be described by some as a Possum standing about five and a half feet tall with an average build covered in dull gray fur with black accents, he wore a heavy worn grey coat that ended just below his knees and had been mended many times over its use.

Those that met Kavin's gaze quickly turned away, if having been asked why they would remark that he had looked like someone that had seen a ghost but since had never stopped seeing it and that he was at the same time both tired and alert.

“Man I need a drink...”

Gloved hands lighting a cigarette he took a drag and decided it would be wise to find a place to sleep before the party kicked off... then drinking...

As Jason walked out of his meeting with the Maiori, he paused momentarily to look over something on his personal Data Pad. The signal he'd been monitoring was still where it was when he came here. And that was a relief to him, if minor. This threat posed by these "Elachi" loomed over him like a dark shadow. He felt it - like a low rumble before the storm.

And Jason feared what was ahead...

Razuel followed Jason out of the room, and put his hand on Jason's shoulder, "Ya know, the ship that's comin' is an extremely strong ship, and its crew is ready for battle, so there's no reason to be worried... we'll be fine.", Razuel took his hand off Jason's shoulder, " Tell ya what, I'll buy You, and the other 2, a round of drinks later, that oughta calm you down, eh?"

[Alessia Starfurr]

"I'm more worried about what will happened between that time." Tigress replied, following the other two, face , tail and ears showing signs of concern and worry.

Keri had gone off somewhere to do, something on her own, being as stealthy as she was, nobody likely noticed her leaving the group, nonetheless she kept in silent contact with Tigress via their datapads.

[Razuel]

Razuel sighed, "Come now. I understand that the tension is fairly high here, but when you worry, or anyone for that matter, it just makes things worse. Worrying never does anyone good. Now please, we've all had a long day, lets just enjoy the festival and have fun, and if there happens to be an attack, we will be notified.", Razuel then began to lead them to a saloon, "By the way, I never learnt either of your names."

[Romulan_Furry]

"First off," Jason said, "I have contingencies of my own. Secondly..." he paused to look at Razuel. "As far as drinks in the saloon are concerned, I go for Romulan Ale. Or a Ruby Bleils, though that one I save for special occasions." He pocketed the personal data pad, then got out his Storm Rifle, following Razuel. "And my name is Jason - Jason Priznat."

[Razuel]

"Alrighty then, Jason Priznat. I'll keep your drink preferences to memory.", Razuel then gestured over to Tigress, "And your name is, Miss?"

[Alessia Starfurr]

"Tigress Arcnon, and my partner... Wherever she went to is, Keri Coug'arr." Tigress replied worry and concern still on her face.

[Razuel]

Razuel was still disturbed by the look of concern on their faces, he then stopped and put a hand on both of their shoulders, "Now, stop that it is you both are doing, and worry about the now and not what might come, okay? We are all strong enough to defend these people, if need be, until my ship arrives. So please, ease yourselves and lets go have fun for now."
