What's your favourite thing about being a furry?

My favorite is just about everything. In other words I can't decide, so I'll just list stuff.

I found the fandom because one day I randomly searched YouTube for videos about furries. First one I watched was by Majira Strawberry, and I instantly felt an incredible peace, joy, happiness, and sense of ... I'm not sure what to call it. Stronger then belonging, but that is the closest I can get. I had been going through a rough period, and I truly believe that it was God bringing me here, I hadn't even heard of furries before.

Man, that was only five weeks ago. I have found so much in that time. People, music, stories, videos, a new purpose, interests. Heck, the fandom is what got me into using the Internet for more then college and news. I have discovered more about people in this time period then... dare I say my life? I have found qualities that I never knew existed in me. I have realized that people that are total opposites can coexist. I have realized life is so far from what it seems. I have become a far better person. I have something besides my studies and  surviving each day to look forward to. I have found that I can be a decent human. I have been accepted. I have laughed, cried, and been more excited then I have been in... ever? I see light, and I feel the light. I can think for myself. I have a refuge that I can go to, even though I have to hide it. I'm home.

I love the community! Everyone's so accepting, friendly and encouraging here and I've made a few good friends because of it

Every one I have come across is so awesome and nice I haven't met a bad person yet. I also like everyone's art work and stories. You guys are the best!

First and for all: we all like the interesting art that can be found. I am no exception.

But what I mostly like are how the people of this community are: they are really nice and they don't care about what and who you are
just as long you are a nice guy and like to have fun.

I will have to say the community. When i first called myself a furry i thought i would never tell anyone but the nice friendly people i met here gave me the confidence to tell a few of my friends

For the very small duration of time that I have spent associating, defending, and appreciating the furry fandom, I have learned one thing: not every fandom is going to ridicule you for not being as skilled at writing, as talented at art, or as persistent according to their standards. Being grouped in with the furry fandom is something a lot of people have already made fun of me for, but it makes me feel good to be part of a community that is open to diverse and different ideas, all connected back to one concept; anthropomorphic animals.

Art, and the general creativity.
In fandoms based off of movies, books, or games, your characters are always going to revolve around the story in some way. Here, furries are just an art style so you can do pretty much whatever you want with them.

I like the suiting the most~ it's super fun (except when a kid starts yanking your tail) most kids are pretty good though

The art and the community. Honestly, you guys are a lot friendlier and accepting than many bronies (sorry for the comparison, but I used to be a member of that fandom and I didn't really like the community that much), and I love that.

For me, my favorite things are:
You can make friends very easily, also you have lots of fun posting, roleplaying (though I'm literally a noob at roleplaying, since I have never done this) and chatting with others.

So far, I feel like I can just be myself and it's ok!  LOVE the art, I'd like to get to know more people that have animals too.

the fandom so much more relaxed on touch boundries, it very freeing to be able to hug someone with out being seen as a sl** or some s*it like that.
