Through out the fight, the lone Ranger felt numb as the bullets continued to fly back and forth. Some even whizzing by her head. Not that she seemed to notice, oddly. Instead... she found himself stuck in her own thoughts. A glass of water in hand, and her eyes fixated on it. A bullet wizzed by, and struck the bottom of the glass, causing it to explode. This didn't seem to move her either.
"Who do you serve..." a voice ran in her head. "When your fight is over, but the real fight never ends, soldier?"
That was a question that even now she couldn't answer. Still lost in her own thoughts, she slowly looked up and peered off to the side, now seeing the fight advance further down sanctuary. It appears that a single vertibird had gotten involved. She watched as the gunner's missed shots wrecked all sorts of havok. Tearing down civilian structures, and even clipping or causing unnecessary casualties. All of which, according to the Geneva Conventions that the NCR followed, were high violations of war. Something that the Brotherhood never followed. This just might be her problem now, unfortunately.
The woman shook her head softly as she pulled herself out of her seat. She rolled the rifle off of her shoulder and took aim at the chopper. She kept herself in the shade under the bar's awning to give her some concealment while she deliberately took each shot.
The first two were fired when the vertibird grew still enough. The shots met their mark. The fist one bit into the knight's shoulder stunning him as well as drawing a puff of blood. The second skipped off of the barrel of the minigun and tore into his chest. The bullet's tumble leaving to a wound that was much worse than it should have been. Either way, the knight fell backwards into the chopper screaming. He wasn't dead, yet.
Seeing the effects of her effort, Reeva was quick to change her target. Just as the pilot looked back to see what happened to her companion was when the third and fourth shot rang out from the barrel of her rifle. The first one weakened the glass. The second tore through. The rounds velocity wasn't enough to kill, but it wasn't needed. The impact was still hard enough to daze the pilot when it struck her helmet and send the vehicle out of control. It was obvious that some attempt was made to keep the vehicle under control. It was futile though. All the same the powerful gunship spun out of control and hit the ground in a blaze of glory outside of sanctuary.
