Probably every defiled chalice dungeon boss in bloodborne. Amygdala in that dungeon will give you nightmares.

Alduin from Skyrim but only because my game glithced out and made him invincible. So I was fighting him for over half an hour not doing any damage and getting wrecked.

The Fire Demon in Dark Souls. Yes, it's a reskin of the two other demons at the Undead prison, but I am always getting caught on something and that  side AoE just about one shots me every time The frontal AoE is easy, but that side AoE is insanely difficult to avoid.

Dark Souls 2's Royal Rat Authority is also my bane, simply because of toxic BS. Four small rats that you need to be able  to take down in one move, otherwise, you are pretty much screwed. This fight isn't difficult once you manage to do that, but this would be better without the cheap cheese.

The hardest boss I've faced in any game was undoubtedly Mother Brain on the hardest difficulty in Metroid Zero Mission. Double damage from enemies, half the strength to pickups, a two tile platform with acid beneath and attacks coming from all sides. One slip up and you're taking a hell of a lot of damage, which you can't afford too often.

My friend and I didn't realize the enemy spawning was infinite until we'd had a literal mountain of bodies behind us and they just kept coming...


A very hard boss was Letho and the Kayran. So first you verse the Kayran which takes up to 15 minutes to kill and every one of its hits is instant kill so you have to avoid all it's attacks. Then immediately after a cutscene you have to verse Letho whose even harder and almost impossible to land a hit on! Took me a lot of time to defeat those bosses.

Dear lord, Zeromus from Final Fantasy IV is a freaking pain in the ass to handle. Not only
Does he have his signature "Big Bang" attack that hits the whole party to 1000-2000 damage, he also uses flare to kill a survivor so basically that person is gone from the whole battle, you don't even have time to revive dead party members, you don't have enough time before he uses Big Bang again

You want hard? try going solo against the Raid bosses in Borderlands 2. I mean, you will get SO FRUSTRATED.

The spawning is not infinite, actually. It's just a hell of a lot.


The pile of bodies thing is normal for that game.

Hardest Boss I remember was the Metal Head Leader at the end of Jak 2, he hardly gave you time to aim, camera was disorienting, and occasionally I lost track of him by a glitch. His form changes certainly made it more difficult. I only beat him after deciding to play through all three Jak games after our internet went out for a bit. Come to think about it I only made it to him because a game breaking glitch didn't kick in.

The hardest boss fight I've won (with appropriate gear) was probably the Expert mode Mechanical bosses in Terraria. For the gear that I had (A yoyo and basic hardmode gear), it was very difficult given their damage and health boost.
Plantera was almost cheese and Golem was super easy.

Either that or WoF with pre-hardmode summoner gear only.
