So a lot has happened to me in the last few months since I've not been on the forum. I attempted suicide, I have a boyfriend now, and I'm becoming a published poet this year. So mostly good. Anyway, this is a poem about the first two subject. My boyfriend is one of the reasons I'm still here. This, coincidentally, is going in my poetry collection
He wasn't in their room
Or the bathroom
Or the balcony
But his boyfriend found him on the roof
Looking wistfully
At the streets below
The wind
tossing his hair about
And his eyes
Filled with tears
Dark thoughts swirled around
In his head,
And he moved as though to fall,
When he heard a yell behind him
And there stood his love,
Distraught, with his hand outstretched
An emotional glance took place
Betwixt the two, and then he looked away,
The world would never love him
For who he was, no,
Much of the world hated him,
For it
He closed his eyes and
Prepared himself for the fall
When he felt another body
Against his
I love you, and i need you
They said
And the both of them
Stayed there for a long moment
