How many times has it taken to find your fursona?
« on: March 23, 2016, 03:59:10 AM »
I've changed my fursona quite a bit, mostly lately to find the perfect match. I came up with a doe~ How many times has it taken you? Did you have a hard time?

...10? Maybe 6. First it was fox. Then Lynx, then mouse, dragon, feral, etc...
Then I decided lombax and I've loved him for two years! :)

I started out with a cat character, one that I would draw in my notebooks in middle school, but that was before I knew what furries were.

I've had a couple of random fox and wolf sonas but Epilogue stuck with me.

Went through multiple in my head over several years, starting as a dragon, then being a fox, then a renamon, a braixen, a fennec fox, before finally ending up where I am now - and it is what I've chosen now, Anthro tree spirit, because of my love for the Ori game and a fantastic piece of art I saw someone else make.

I think it's big ears that get me.  :$

Not got a name for any 'Sona's I make though. Not enough imagination.

I've had quite a few sonas, the one I've had for longest being a tiger named Tufty that I would write about whenever I had to practice my story writing in school. I still have lots of characters from times when I've decided to character build, but I decided that out of all the ones I have Nutmeg represents another side of me in one of the best ways. It definitely took a while to come up with her character and design for certain, but I love how she turned out  ^_^
I wouldn't say it's hard though, if it's hard you're probably over thinking things.

Four or five??? I lost track awhile ago. But this one fits and will definitely stick. Although I've considered having more than one as of late.

Five times, I think. Started with a kangaroo(!!) and went through a few feline varieties before settling on Halei. Pretty sure she's a keeper :)

Since joining I been fox

before I joined had been undecided between fox or my other favorite animal, cougar. Stuck with foxes, along the way I like having fun being mixed species

What you see is my first attempt at a fursona. Happy with it, and will stick with it while I still try to draw it better.

At first, I wanted to make a wolf one, but I later changed my mind and made an Umbreon fursona.

I love hearing all your stories :3 I think change can be good. I'm actually thinking of changing to a dragon instead of a deer because how much my life has been all about dragons.
