green with red looks very pretty, i would love to see how i will look with the markings as i feel its a bit texture less.

Seeing how you're wearing a blue robe, perhaps some (dark )blue markings? Or purple?

purple can work very well with the red, but it really depends what shade with the green, i somehow go to a more pinkish purple as i don't think the contrast will look as good with the green.

Take note: Some of the grey is actually purple, but I haven't removed an extra colour layer from it yet. The purple is mostly on the places you can see in the original draft in the first post

oh okay, but if its the same shade as in the first photo i will actually might use a darker one i think.

So, time for an update!

I still need to edit the headspikes by adding dark purple at the tips (just like my current avatar picture), maybe changing the red fur at the top of the head to the main green colour, add some more various colours to the tail feathers, give the claws more of a darker grey colour, and still see if I can implement the orange.
A small note: The ball/pearl thing at the tail tip also will be coloured too.

(After the colours have been added in, I can mess around with adding some lighter and darker colours to create some shading/highlighting effect.)

I've actually edited the red fur on the top of the head, added the purple to the head spikes, and added some orange to the smaller (purple) markings, as well as finished colouring the tail feathers.

Next up the claws, bulb/tail thing, and the eyes.

ALRIGHT!
I think I got the whole design done (for the Anthro version). The colours, markings, everything! I even have made a neat colour palette (not shown on the image) and have some cool information on the eyes and the bulb on the tail.
The tail feathers, as you might have noticed, have turned from dark green to red.
Why?
Because the dark green didn't really fit anywhere. Sure, it was part of the green colour scheme, but I felt two different types of green was good enough, which are implemented on more than just one part of the body (the green and mint green). The dark green was only on the end of the tail.
So I decided: Either purple or red.
I decided for red, and change the end tail marking purple. It seems a lot more coherent now ^^

What do you guys think?

very cool and deiteild! the red looks good with the tail, somewhat the feet color seems wierd but not in a bad way, would love to see a version with cloths.
so are you doing a feral version now?

Scales such as on the top of his snout, or two horns on his snout, maybe even scales down the spine of his back instead of fur?
Since Ventus isn't your common anthro in the fandom, I'm trying to think outside the box, something you don't see often. Hope these help out with any idea's
