Sometimes when standing still, I bend my knees a little and lean back ever so slightly like I'm digitigrade xD And sometimes walk on the balls of my feet as well, is this just me?

I don't bend my knees and lean over, but I the balls on my feet a lot. I can't walk up or down stairs without doing it, I've done it for a long as I can remember  X3

When I ran cross country the only way I could run was on the balls of my feet. Running normally I couldn't run a football field but on my toes I could run 3 miles

Now I'm just wondering why the Hell the sections of bones just before the toes are called "balls". If anything on the foot is like a ball, it'd be the heel, but well, that's called a heel.

It's not a bad thing. It actually allows you to use different muscles and even put more weight where you normally wouldn't. It's great for relieving stress from your heels.
