Sometimes when standing still, I bend my knees a little and lean back ever so slightly like I'm digitigrade xD And sometimes walk on the balls of my feet as well, is this just me?

I don't bend my knees and lean over, but I the balls on my feet a lot. I can't walk up or down stairs without doing it, I've done it for a long as I can remember

When I ran cross country the only way I could run was on the balls of my feet. Running normally I couldn't run a football field but on my toes I could run 3 miles

All the time. Standing flat-footed feels completely bizarre, also makes my perspective noticeably shorter.

Now I'm just wondering why the Hell the sections of bones just before the toes are called "balls". If anything on the foot is like a ball, it'd be the heel, but well, that's called a heel.

It's not a bad thing. It actually allows you to use different muscles and even put more weight where you normally wouldn't. It's great for relieving stress from your heels.
