Great idea, but economically unfeasible. If food is too overproduced, it will drive the price down. If it drives the price down, some farmers will move to a different industry. When they move to a different industry, less food is produced which brings the price right back up. Due to the little guys moving to new industries, corporate farms are the majority of remaining farms, thus increasing the price even further.
