Geoff had left the group long before all the fighting happened. Running into so many people at once was too much of a shock and he needed time to relax by himself. It was going to take a while to adjust to social interaction again...
He was resting in a beat up cubicle in an office building not too far away, examining the computer which sat crooked on the desk. The thing was in good condition but certainly not going to work anytime soon. The bear was on one constantly as a kid before the fall, watching silly pet videos and writing awful poetry on his blog. Such an innocent time...
He poked the power button on the PC. It didn't flash to life, as expected, but it did supply a satisfying click that amused him more than it should.
He kept pressing it with enthusiasm, each click widening his grin. Then he turned it into a beat he rasped along with.
"Tuh, tuh tuh, tuh, tuh, tuh tuh--Heheh...!"
