I'd demand a refund and threaten to take his soul if he kept refusing, then bash the restaurant all over the internet so everyone knows that a horrible chef works there, and then plot to get him fired so people can eat at the restaurant without worrying about him. To quote Mayor Lionheart from Zootopia, "It's sort of a doing the wrong thing for the right reason kind of deal."
