Guardians (Closed RP)

Mara rushed over and comforted Raz. "Are you ok buddy?" She lightly scratches under his chin and the back of his head.

Raz's heart was racing and he immediately hugged Mara, his body size shifting to slightly smaller, and then hugging her, holding her in his curl, holding her against his soulstone, revealing his mental and physical pain to her, and showing her what could've happened due to those sparks, a rather large explosion, "Hah... hah.... Rrrr..."

[Dr. Alka Wolf]

Cherri showed her face from the bar. "I-I-Is it over...?"

[Ibi Tanvaal]

"Almost." Valor said. The flame went dark purple before extinguishing. He sighed and rested his gauntlet on the wolf's helmet, reassuring him that there was indeed a better way.

[Cifero Windtail]

The wolf, who had been on guard in case Valor somehow didn't succeed, lowered her hand and opened her eyes, sighing in relief. "Well... that's that," she murmured, picking up her sword.





(...I dunno. o-o *shrug*)

(This feels a little off. What was the point of restricting magic use if we're going to just use it from the start anyway?)


Cherri slowly walked over to Valor. "Y-You said the umm... t-the book was y-yours...?"

[Ibi Tanvaal]

(Not sure, but the initial idea was that our powers would be 'activated' by Valor. I guess that can happen soon)

"It is." Valor said. "But I'm sure you could learn a few things from it. Read through the thirtieth page."

[Dr. Alka Wolf]

Cherri nodded. She recognised Valor's wisdom, and eagerly followed his words. Opened and quickly read through the thirteenth page of the book. "S-So umm... F-Fire spells...?"

[Cifero Windtail]

(The wolf's an alien, so.... Nyeh. I dunno. .////. I guess she can only do small stuff.)


The wolf took a seat, watching on. "So... what is going on here?"

[Razuel]

(I've been trying to keep Raz's... subtle... But for him, I've been keeping the premise of that he doesn't have true control over his magic, as it explosively expels whenever he gets too scared)


Raz slowly calmed down, hugging Mara tightly, slightly shaking when he exhaled his breath, but was calming down very slowly...

(...She might only be able to use it by instinct and not really... controlled. Which is why she can't do much. Maybe she can't do much.)




The wolf kept relaxing for a moment.

Valor nodded, removing Firefly's helmet so he could make sure the wolf was ok. "You likely know who I am by now, so there is little chance that I need to introduce myself. But I will anyway. I am Ravgaan, Archmage of Valor and Master of fire magic." He stood and offered a gauntleted hand to Cherri.

The wolf glanced over Cherri's shoulder out of curiosity and read alongside her.

Cherri had quickly finished the page and bowed before shaking his hand. "I-It's an h-honour to meet you... Ravgaan... I-I was actually umm... l-looking for your sibling... t-the Master of umm... W-Water magic..."

[Ibi Tanvaal]

"Ah yes, my sister. She's quite picky, so you should train before seeing her. She's in the town up north, three days' ride from here by horse, one afternoon if you have air magic or water magic. There's a river that leads there." Valor said, beginning to tell a long and vivid tale about how the river was formed and the strange and beautiful creatures that live along its banks.

[Dr. Alka Wolf]

Cherri listened, hanging on every word, but 'picky' had dashed her hopes of ever learning spells. "H-How am I s-supposed to train w-without an awakened aura...?"
