Guardians (Closed RP)

Mara glanced at the wolf. "You do realise that Valor just walked in, yeah? That thief has no chance!" She began pulling a few strands of web from her hands...

Ibi stirred a little, flopping around on Mara's shoulder. He was still recovering, but he was almost sober.

[Dr. Alka Wolf]

Cherri slowly walked over to the wolf. "I-I can umm... t-take the book... if y-you'd like..."

[Razuel]

Raz had a worried look on his face, but comforted himself with Ibi, nuzzling, but had retained enough energy that if need be, he could fight.

"Yeah, but do you really think anyone's guarding the back door?" she replied, gently handing the book to Cherri and walking forward, letting her hand drop from her midsection as soon as no one could see her front. If anyone bothered to look at her lower back, the tips of a pair of tattooed-on wings would be visible.

Valor sighed. "He can't hide from me. I can sense his aura. It is actually quite sad, he has a lot of potential. I hate to see such good mages taken and bent to Malric's will..."

The wolf raised her free hand, closing her eyes. A pink glow formed in front of her, brightening as though the wolf's power was increasing.




Outside, a wall of earth rose and blocked the door.

Firefly found his way to the back entrance. He saw a random wall of earth in his way. The wolf grinned pulling out his dark Ebony blade. Something Firefly never mentioned is that his blade was enchanted by Malric giving the wielder incredible feats of strength. 


Hah... Lets try this out for size.
Firefly swings his sword at the wall. He slices into the wall causing the whole thing to crack into many pieces before breaking apart and falling, A cloud of dust and smoke fills the Air. Firefly brushes off his shoulder then approaches the back door, He simply kicks the door and the lock shatters causing it to swing open.


Found you darling
Firefly says standing in the doorway, His green eyes staring at Cifero through the dark helmet. His sword thirsting for blood

There's no need to hand over the book, sweetie. After I cut you down, I'll find it myself
Firefly says tilting his head to one side. He takes a step towards Cifero only to have his boot caught in somthing sticky

What?!?! 
The Wolf looks down to see his leg caught in a web. He quickly tries to cut himself free

Valor took the opportunity and, with blinding speed, snatched Firefly's blade and stabbed it into the floor beyond his reach. "You are not leaving, wolf. You are in my territory, and you've been commuting crimes since you walked in. Stand down."

Mara threw more web over Firefly, as a sort of net. She figured it would hold him still whilst Valor disarmed him.

Cherri hid under one of the tables, clutching the book close to her. She tried her best not to make a single noise.

Raz saw Cherri dive under the table close to him and he pulled them into his curl, pretending to sleep, covering his curl with his wing to hide Cherri, Ibi, and the book

The Bartender walked out and stood in front of the table Cherri was hiding under. He leaned over and began to wipe it clean, whispering. "Come behind the bar. Ah'll protect ye if he gets out."

[Dr. Alka Wolf]

Cherri shrieked as Raz pulled her under his wing, and out of fear, clawed the wing that was covering her. The bartenders words didn't entirely get through, but the minute she'd get the chance, she'd run for the bar.


(Just casually cleaning the premise, I see.))

Raz saw the bartender and let Cherri out, licking the scratches on his wing that Cherri left behind

Cherri bolted behind the bar, almost at tears from how hectic things were. The town was being attacked, the bar was being attacked, SHE may have just been attacked. She hid under the bar, shivering and barely holding back her sobbing.

The bartender cleaned the rest of the tables, and then went back behind the bar to start preparing for the day. He crouched and grabbed a few bottles. "It'll be alright lass, the dragon was tryin' ta protect ye. Yer safe here." He started arranging the bottles on the bench behind him.
