A cold night and a lone Wolf...

"Thank you, Ayame... You don't even know me well, yet you do this for me?" Wolfe asked, looking to her, turning his head slightly to see her face

"You are truly kind... Thank you..." Wolfe said as he closed his eyes to the moon...

He lay his head down on the soft, cold snow and became lost in his thoughts once more...

"It's my nature. It's how I was raised, my father taught me the beauties in life and also to help those in need because you never know when you'll be at your lowest point." she said, not breaking her gaze from the moon. "I know you miss your pack, but you can't swim in the past. You must look to the future; because that's where you'll be living soon enough. I know it's hard to do... I still struggle sometimes. Always fighting the grief I might soon enough find myself drowning in." She stood to her feet and shook the snow off her. She figured Wolfe might want alone time, and she did not want to intrude. "I keep the name Ayame because that's what he used to call me. He didn't believe in giving us numbers for names."

Wolfe lay there, thinking over all Ayame had said... 'How can she be so calm while saying that?' he wondered

Wolfe rolled onto his side and lay there, looking to the sky...

"I met you... and my world changed..." Was all he said as Ayame walked away from him

He looked after her once, then returned his gaze to the moon...

Kameor awoke slowly, blinking in the sunlight and stretched. What a beautiful morning... She thought, getting to her feet and beginning to make her way down the mountain she had been a refugee in. Her home was now burried under tons of snow and she couldn't--no wouldn't--go back.

Ayame wandered aimlessly until she found a tree to lie under. Day was breaking, and she was somewhat sleepy. She layed her head down on top of her paws and watched the sunrise, her father well in her thoughts. It was beautiful how the sun reflected off the snow and ice, spilling spectrums of different colors on what seemed to be a world written in black and white. Though she felt herself drifting, insomnia struck, and she found her thoughts becoming numerous and overwhelming... She would not sleep.

I kicked my foot back, tripping him and put my foot on his neck and applied pressure, then took the gun
and aimed it at his right temple...
"You're too naive.."

i got an arrow and stabbed him in tha foot, "..yoore too stubborn...WHIE DO YOO COME?!.."

Kameor stalked another wolf sitting under a tree. She came slowly forward and nudged the wolfs' tail gently. "Hello." She whispered in a gruff voice.

Ayame jumped, almost out of her skin, and spun around, defensively growling. Once she saw that it was a wolf, her guard dropped. She'd been so distracted in her thoughts someone could have captured her without her knowledge. "Oh.. I... I'm sorry."

"it's fine. I'm Kameor. Nice to see that I'm not the last of my kind." She replies with a crooked smirk. She looks pat her to a group of whit hares and her smirk widens as her stomach roars quietly. "Lunch. Care to join me?" She clenched her paws subconsciously and her claws dug into her white fur, staining it red. The blood dripped onto the snow slowly and she look down, curious why she smelled any. "Oops.." She mumbled, lifting her right paw to her mouth and licking the wound softly.

"I'm not of your origin, therefore I'm not one of your species." Ayame said apologetically. Her gaze shifted to the white hares in the distance. "Thanks for the offer, but I'm not that hungry at the moment. We just finished up a deer. I'll go with you, as long as we don't stray from my temporary pack."

I applied more pressure, nearly crushing his esophagous...
"Don't mess with me, damnit." I put my other foot on his lef arm..
"Ready to give up?" I asked him... "All I need is some information."
