Geoff struggled to get his thoughts together and stammered a bit. "O-okay, what now," he muttered to himself.
He furrowed his brow in thought, pulling his backpack off. He opened it up and rapidly shuffled through. He had an extra pair of clothes, a sleeping bag, a small tent, and whatever odd useful things he came across, many of which of what Inn patrons left behind over the years. Some of which were a few hand-warmer bags and a brown hooded robe.
"This might be... insanely dumb," he mumbled, "but it might work..."
He plucked a hand-warmer bag from one of his backpack pockets and shook it up, handing it to Raz.
"Hold it on your throat," he told him gently, copying the motion with his free hand. "The warmness should relax it, okay? I'm gonna take you somewhere safe."
He quickly changed his pants -- from blue jeans to simple black pants, and threw on the cloak. His backpack wasn't at all noteworthy, so hopefully that won't be a bother. He hoped the night made it too dark to catch all his facial features, and if the hood didn't conceal enough, there were other bears in the area to excuse him. He hoped. Very much hoped. He was running on a lot of hope today...
He made sure there was just enough room (and moderate comfort) in the main backpack pocket for the kid. "We gotta be sneaky. Hop in and keep quiet, okay? I know a friend who can help us."
((Is it okay if I make this friend? still need to fill out the sheet. If this goes another route they'll still be of use.))
