[The Past]

Raz stopped moving in the bag when he heard another voice, slightly scared... he eventually peed himself in being scared, but it was a very small amount, however it's smell was horrid... but the smell is easy to wash off...

"Thank you for complying!" Shoon said in an up bit tone "But I would guess that is the protz calling for you, Get a headstart, I'm gonna catch up" Shoon started fiddling with his pockets on the belt grabbing needles.

Geoff nodded and began walking, again, like natural. He figured it was best to not drag his friend into this, and this new fellow might help enough. He was going to take a route directly toward Peak Ulrith for a long as possible. By now he'd be exhausted, but he was too worried about the kid to care about himself.

And then the putrid scent in his backpack hit him. He had a good idea of what it was, too. The bear scrunched his nose in disgust but continued on. He'll take care of it later, but the strength of the stench was already making him sick...

[Lacar Lacrest]

"Geoff come on dude this how you treat everyone that helps you out"lacrest kept marching through the woods trying to catch up to geoff his smell growing faint.

[Rayleonarde]

Ronnie smiled at Marine, and spoke softly. "Would you like some assistance?"

[Razuel]

Marine looked at Ronnie and walked to him, "Yes? How can I help you?"

[Rayleonarde]

Ronnie nodded. "I was sent by Draconos to find his son, and was hoping you might have had a lead, or heard any rumors."

[Razuel]

Marine perked up then looked sad when she heard Draconos's name, "I don't know where Razuel is... I've sent a friend out for... something, so I can go look for him... but how is Draconos doing?"

[Rayleonarde]

Ronnie smiled disarmingly. "Frought with worry, and a touch of anger, but otherwise he seemed quite fine."

[Razuel]

Marine nodded, "I'd love to help you search for Raz... but I'm currently bound to my shop.... sorry... I really do want to help..."

[Rayleonarde]

Ronnie placed a massive paw gently on Marine's shoulder. "My dear, you've no need to apologize, you are doing exactly what you need to now." He looked around the establishment as he spoke. "You haven't had any unscrupulous creatures come this way of late?"

[Razuel]

Marine thought for a moment, "A man who was once pure... his name is Lacar... I'm not affiliated with him in anyway...", she set down the tray she was holding, "But you may want to find him... the Protz, I believe, do trafficking of sorts... I don't like it... but I can't stop them..."

[The Past]

Geoff continued onward, silently waiting for that one guy to show up again... if he will. Was he fooled? What if his judgement was wrong and the guy went to tattle to the Protz? Or if he's from some other group after the kid. Or maybe working alone...
This little dragon was clearly special, maybe related to one of the head dragons in Peak Ulrith. Chances are a number of gangs and rogues have come out of the woodwork to snatch the kid for monetary gain. Or maybe to raise him as a powerful pawn for themselves. The bear supposed keeping his fantastical ideas fluttering in his mind will only make this mission more difficult. His goal was to get the kid home safely, whatever reason for the situation was irrelevant in that. Not that recognizing such logic cleared his head any.

Ronnie nodded. "The Protz... I thank you for your help." He removed his paw from Marine's shoulder, and started back out the door.

[Razuel]

Alka frowned. "Don't be fooled by the lack of that grid. It's still there." The wolf approached Draconos. "This place is very open to the light. The very nature of the crystal we stand upon intensifies the light, dispelling evil. However, your soul is still corrupt. What troubles you, friend?"
((In all truthfulness, he wasn't supposed to be cured upon entering the crystal peak. Alka was supposed to do a thing  ))

Draconos looked down, "My son... He was kidnapped.... The grid had shown up before.. but seemed to disappear whenever my son was around... I've always blamed the grid on my stress.... but I'm not sure that's the true cause for it...."
